Just a few ideas for Sheik buffs. -up air should kill 10% sooner at least. -slightly increase hit box on up air -back air needs damage boost -first hit of f-smash better connects to second hit. -more power to f-smash -less knock back on forward throw -adjust launch angle on down throw Side special is almost useless. I don’t know what to do to make it better. Give her a different one 😂

I have an idea for side special. Give her the option to hold the deku nut. You can intentionally get hit during the move so you drop the item. Giving her the option right away whould be cool. Like, shield during startup to grab it instead.

Side special is terrible but if you made that move good she may not need anything else, and it may not be fun. The simple buff there would be for the windbox to absorb opponents like blunderbuss or kaboom windboxes; the option to hold deku nut would be both too strong and too frustrating to play against (it's as if WFT could pick up the soccer ball), and it wouldn't even address that she can't land the explosion. As a Sheik main the buffs I'd like are 2 or 3 less startup frames to her smash attacks, dsmash always sending the way Sheik is facing, and bair and dtilt always getting an effective hit instead of having a tipper mechanic. Explanation if you don't play her, these 3 buffs would boost all kinds of things: dtilt confirms, bair kb consistency, dragdown into smash attack ranges, dair spike or landing needles into usmash ranges, burst smash attacking...basically fix everything that she's missing which is reliability and threat level on her KO and setup tools.

That's debatable. I'm on her side as a Sheik main of course. But Its doable. Sheik is setup based and how good or bad she is depends heavily on playstyle. Void is more of a tatical aggro style player. So he runs up alot and swings, my favorite playstyle. When Sheik has to deal with sheilds and camping... in this game especially, come backs can be super hard. Particulary for Void's type of playstlye.

sheik can make some pretty insane comebacks especially against characters with exploitable recoveries like ness. it's very tight but definitely doable. it's not a three strikes and you're out type deal like ganon or someone it's a game of "don't go off stage" for as long as possible

You are absolutely correct. However in the grand scheme of things this is something that the community would acknowledge only if or when they've seen it happen and begin to complain about it. If Sheik consistently did ~40 in 4 hits, her 10 hit combos would be broken and no one wants to mention this until it happens.

As a Sheik main that played her since brawl though, I can honestly say that Sheik is not the same character. They've changed a series of little things and those little changes have made a big difference on her. Not to drown you in how those changes affected her, I'll point out a simple one. At 10:19 that double weight nerf leads to a super early stock. At 10:40 after that impressive combo, if this were literally ANY other smash game than Ultimate, that would have been a stock. One of the worst changes was needles going from 45 degrees to 30degrees. Small change, missed a whole stock. If you re-watch the vid again and just count how many times needles miss it'll be a big point. Not to make this message too long, I'll just say: If her B-air had half rage falcon knee knockback for example, it would change everything. Not a bunch of damage. Sweet spot bair does 11.4 damage, plenty. If Getting hit super far was something she could do with a move at will, people would have to respect her a bit more. The meta for her would change alot just on that one thing. Even if f-smash still dropped people out, and all hits of down-smash dont connect and needle angles are sill bad and her early hit stun is poor and her combos become untrue just before ~60. All of that wouldn't matter if she'd had a really high knockback move she could threaten with like other characters.

Good work on gackts part. However sheik needs desperate buffs and I don't understand why void disagrees. Her kill confirms are very few and far in between, she can't kill with a stray hit unless it's a smash attack read, and she can carry people across the stage only doing 30%.
