I used to play in snow like that and after 30 years in the Canadian winter, I feel colder and colder as I get older to play in the snow.... Those are lovely parents driving the grownup kids to everywhere (Ikea, X-mas light show, etc.). Imagine their happy faces if they see grand kids, but your decision should still be respected!

We’ve been wearing sooo many layers to keep toasty and warm-I definitely didn’t need so many when I was a kid 😅 My parents are actually grateful that we don’t have or want kids, because if we did, we wouldn’t be able to afford to come and see them every year. With a kid, we would quit KZbin, work company jobs, and only get to Canada once every several years for a much shorter visit-IF we’re lucky.

Breakdancing in the snow. Only Kuyho. I would enjoy all of that snow for one day and then I’d be over it. The worst snow storm or blizzard was once where the snow was up to my waist. And I am 5’9.5” tall. That’s so funny that it snowed so much and then the next day it rained. And now a snow squall. Then just like that, dry. I hope that you guys don’t have issues with flooding. I’ve always wanted to go to Nova Scotia and Halifax because of Anne of Green Gables. I’m sure you get that comment a lot. I want to visit in the summer though. You guys are cat magnets. Wherever you go, cats are just attracted to you guys. It seems dad and Rosie love the rug too. 😊

That fresh powder reminds me of a snowboarding trip we did one time. It had dumped snow, like around the same amount you guys got, 45cm the night before. And that day was literally the best snow day of my life! Bomb straight down runs and if you fell, it was like falling on a pillow. SO much fun! Agreed, that new rug works perfect in that room! Looks great and your dad looks to be enjoying it a lot haha!

When I was a teenager, I used to hate the snow, but now I find that I have a certain appreciation for the snow. It certainly makes the long winter months more bearable (at least before it turns into a disgusting slush).
