Hey - Just wanted to say that I'm in Seoul too and have had quite a bit of experience battling campylobacter in my cats too. Watch out because humans can catch it too. It's a bacteria that lives in most cats but doesn't bother them much, but in the case of my cats - and i guess Beemo - their immune system can't fight it off. This often results in vomiting and diarrhea. It's important to change out his entire litter often because campylobacter gets passed out, then it gets on his paws, then this tongue, then his water bowl, then your dining table... you get the drift. The presence of the bacteria can be found on the microscope via a simple 5,000won fecal test, so the next time you go to the vet for Beemo's review it might be a good idea to ask for them to do that instead of other lengthy examinations to identify if it's still there or not. It took so long for me to understand the behavior of this bacteria, it was a lengthy battle haha. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have (via IG, I'll leave a DM there) so hopefully Beemo gets rid of it quick.
@2hearts1seoul3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tips! Yeah, we had a lengthy phone call with our vet about this. Luckily we already clean out his litter often and wipe his paws down after he goes to the bathroom. He’s on antibiotics now, but now sure if that will totally clear the infection.

Sarah, I’ve been married for 11 years and I snore more often than my husband does. He’s a light sleeper but he tolerates my snoring. Sometimes he would record my snoring, and tease me with the audio clip the next morning. I get my “revenge” by showing him photos of him sleeping in really strange positions. We just acknowledge that many of our quirks can’t be totally controlled, and we just try to be understanding and laugh it off together :)
@maeganh11693 жыл бұрын
My husband and I actually have separate rooms. We have completely different sleep schedules, and temperature preferences. I am also an incredibly light sleeper and would end up crawling into the living room to just get some sleep. I know it’s not possible for everyone but for us, it works. I hear too often about partners losing so much sleep because of a snoring partner, or even going deaf. So I prefer to avoid a jail sentence. 😅

Oh Sarah your sponsorships are always so wholesome and well made 😍 The problem with snoring is that even earplugs don't really help much...it's so loud. I know that there's these "nose strips" that he can wear to try and minimize the snoring but I don't know if they work or not. Separate bedrooms would be best but I know you can't do that in your current apartment. It's just a really tricky situation. I hope you can solve Beemo's bacteria issue, he was so cute inside the box Will he have to take an antibiotic? 😞 I love re-watching Seinfeld as an adult cause I can understands all the jokes better. When I was a kid half of them flew right over my head 😂
@2hearts1seoul3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, that really means a lot 🥺♥️ Aura’s deep sleep meditations have been so helpful for me personally. Yeah…I wear wax earplugs and his snores who right through them and I can even feel the vibrations 🥲 For nights when we know he’s either super tired or had a bit of beer, he’ll be sleeping on this new mattress 😅 Beemo’s been taking antibiotics for it, but there’s no guarantee he won’t get flair-ups in the future :( But at least we know exactly what the issue was.
@julieobrien40563 жыл бұрын
My husband snored badly for years. The nose strips didn’t help. He would even stop breathing sometimes and it was sooo hard for me to sleep well. He now uses a CPAP device (Continuous Pressure… Airway Protection?? Something. I don’t remember the second half.). He is much more rested. Unfortunately I still have sleep problems but at least they’re not because of him.

Lol, we're the same way, when it comes to sleep! My husband falls asleep within minutes of hitting pillow, whereas it takes at awhile - I have to read for half hour, then do square breathing for 5 breaths (inhale for 5 counts, hold for 5, exhale for 5, hold for 5 - repeat - it really calms down your nervous system). Sarah btw - 36.9 degrees is fine. It’s not good if it goes to 38 etc. I also have the same thermometer - if you look at your video - the light when it was measured was green. If you are having a low grade fever it goes orange/yellow and red if you are having a fever! 👍🏻
@2hearts1seoul3 жыл бұрын
Yes! Usually in Korea they say anything 37.5 and over is a fever. But each person kind of has their own ‘base temperature’ that’s slightly different. Mine (Sarah) is usually 36.1-36.3. I start to feel unwell and feverish at around 36.7ish. Kyuho’s a bit similar. His temperature did get to 38.4 though, so he had a rough day :( Thankfully it passed quickly!

Another nice video. Thank you and love watching your videos. We are married for about 11 years and my husband started snoring within a month of our wedding then it was on and off for several years. As I always had/ have demanding job which also requires get up early in the morning, we started sleeping in separate room. However, over the years his snoring get worse and he started feeling tired all day with very less sleep at night and used to wake up at night several times. Then we did the test as doctor prescribed and he’s diagnosed with sleep apnea. It’s been three years he’s using CPAP machine while sleeping and his quality of sleep improved a lot. Anyway, we got used to with sleeping in separate rooms and only sleep in same room when we are in holidays 🤣

The second shot leaves a lot of people with fever and body aches. After 29 years of marriage and fighting for bed space and snoring, we bought one of those king bed with split beds. We can put our heads at different levels and it has a snoring feature that goes up or down because the bed tracks your sleep. Before I would just leave and sleep in the living room or in one of the kids bed. But I don't like sleeping on my daughter's bed, it's really hard, she said it perfect for her. Sometimes, my son will tell me to go sleep with him because his bed is really nice but he has a white noise machine that drives me nuts.🤣

I actually am an odd one. I love when my SO snores. It puts me to sleep! Sometimes, I admit, it can be shocking how loud it is. Makes me feel safe.

Sarah, I love your pajama set. Do you have a link to ordering it?

You need a white noise machine. Best thing ever and I get great sleep while using it.

I just play white noise on my phone all night-have always done this 😁

Yeah Korean pears are definitely *not* juicier than western pears. If you eat a Bartlett pear for example when it’s ripe, the juice will literally be dripping down your chin!! They’re so good.
