2JZ COMMODORE EP3 - Our Recipe for an 8 Second Car

Today on The Skid Factory We're fitting Kevin's new 2JZ Powerplant that's been freshly built by ‪@golebysparts4257‬. Tuff mounts make it an easy conversion but we still had to clearance the Transmission tunnel to account for the GRT Powerglide.

The editing in this episode is on another level! The music, the sound effects, the banter, all timed perfectly and spot on. As the builds get better and more elaborate over the years, so does the production quality. Great to see the progression there as well, a lot of respect for all the time and effort that is put into making the video itself! Is it all still Woody slaving away behind a 4K tanning bed?

As an American living in a state with no vehicle inspection, you can do whatever to your car but the downside is the tons cars that belong in the scrap yard still driving around. I like being able to do whatever I want to my car but not everyone takes care of their car or make the effort to keep up with the maintenance and road worthiness.

I just had 81 holes welded up on an old Torana SS. Defiantly run a drill bit around all the old holes prior to welding... Oh and a full acetone clean.

Loving this, as per your other builds guys. Great idea on the bolt ground to a point for marking the gearbox crossmember holes. Definitely using this trick as I remake the crossmember for my project!

In my 1200hp barra swap in a vs ute, i moved the rack over and squeezed a 4" dump through there. I ran a t400 with dellows bellhousing. Also early vb 6cyl radiator have outlets on opposite side. Ebay have 3 core ones cheap

How about a moist sump where you have a scavenging system that pumps it back to the factory sump? Just have an internal top/baffle to the sump so it can't leave through the rear. Then you don't need a separate tank taking up room.
