hey alberto, do you think it would be possible to do such an in depth video when assembling Adam's RB26 and/or for other engines in the future (eg the 13b for the FC, possibly 4G63 or others?) of all the engine building videos I've seen not much, if any, helped me as much as the previous video assembling the rotating assembly, so hugh thanks for that! Alberto, Using the 2J GTE oil pump on a GE block will pump at a higher pressure. The GE block doesn't have additional oil squirters like the GTE and keeping the GE pump would suffice since there is no additional demand and may be prevent oil seal from blowing out. Is the GTE pump upgrade on the GE block necessary?

to easily clean bolts go to Harbor freight and get a ultrasonic cleaner. works very well. Also my opinion is to not clean parts with brake kleen. mostly because it sucks. instead, use castrol super clean or carb.cleaner.

Alberto what are you planning to do to keep the oil pressure in check seeinf how the gte flows more and your running the ge block with no squirters? I couldn't get any hard information on that on the forums so went vvti ge oil pump. Quite a few users on the ge block using the ge pump with 0 issues.
@11onejay4 жыл бұрын
@@Roy-oh5nm not too sure if more boost plays a part i know guys who run oil coolers that will require more pressure or drop the pressure because of the cooler. I just think the gte or modded gte wasn't for me on the ge block.

Derek Tomokane originally due to budget. Once you do any engine internal work it applies the same to both.

If you running a stock bottom end get a GTE, if you are looking to build the motor get a GE. As you'll be upgrading the same components on both blocks and spending less.
