Always a good idea after torquing the pan to 15ft pds Always Stick Your finger into the Hole where the oil Pickup goes to Make Sure No Sealant squeezed into the galley from between the oil pan and block

Being a z32tt owner I thought I would have it easy with my gs300. But damn oil pan is leaking slowly and engine is got to come out to fix it

Did you put grease on the inner lip of the rear main seal? I forgot to grease on mine so not sure if that is an issue

Youll be fine, usually i prefer a lil 10w30 as grease can wash into the oil, if its a oil surface use oil, if its atf use atf.... but coolant gaskets dry

What’d you use to get your upper oil pan so clean? Idk if I should have mine powder coated or did you just rattle can it?

sfayer90 I wire wheeled it all then degreased it then sprayed it turned out pretty good and it’s really durable just be sure to use paint specifically for the application
