El Paso is easily America's most forgotten city. Nobody ever talks about it. It's a beautiful city and one of the safest in the country. El Paso is the "Texas" I always imagined when I was a kid living in rural Missouri.

With this video we finally get to see the El Paso Metro though InterstateKyle's eyes. Can't wait to see your drive though the Franklin mountains. The scenery there is very nice indeed!

My hometown-born and raised here- 4:04 Also at the Spaghetti Bowl (though not marked on the exit signs) is Interstate 110, a 0.9 mile long spur route that ends at The Bridge of The Americas, the busiest border crossing in El Paso, and where Johnny Cash was arrested for smuggling prescription drugs inside his guitar. US 54 is called The Patriot Freeway (in honor of the Patriot Missile batteries from Fort Bliss that became famous during Operation Desert Storm for conducting the first successful interceptions of ballistic missiles, Sadam Hussein's SCUD missiles). I can't remember if the overhead signs still call it the Patriot Freeway or not, but they used to 😉 Was just there last summer and drove through the Spaghetti Bowl onto the Patriot Freeway.

At 2:58 on the left is the University of Texas at El Paso. I graduated there in 2006 and haven’t been back there since. Nice video Kyle. Now I can say I’ve seen it yet through the eyes of freeway Brent, Freeway Jim and interstate Kyle.😊👍❤️

Freewayjim did the same stretch of highway years ago, but you made your version so different, you wouldn't know it was the same highway. Loved the Steve Miller and Santana soundtracks. This might be a year or two old, but another example of the excellence you put in your videos! Thoroughly enjoyed it!!!

Good video as usual. Everything is big in Texas, as those interchanges clearly indicate. Hoping to see some of U.S. 54 which goes through Fort Bliss and past Biggs Army Airfield.

Thanks for the ride along with the cool jams! Oye Como Va is still an original all time favorite. Born and Growing up in El Paso way before all these amazing development things became true. Just like my grandmother had predicted! when she told me back in 1960. That when I would grow up. I was going to see El Paso become a big city. We didn't have Interstate 10, but I got to see it built along with the North/South freeway, Cesar Chavez/Loop 375. Then I moved away from El Paso for 23 years from 1988 to 2010! Then I moved back to El Paso, only to discover that my grandmother's prediction was 100% True! Growing up in the Lower Valley was where I got to see El Paso start to grow. From my grandmothers house, when they knocked it down! to build low income housing! El Paso's First Projects!!!

El Paso sure has changed in the last 5 years. And there are so many more projects underway. However the growing population and demographics is also slowly transforming the community, for both the best and worst.

To bad they didn’t show the backup on I-10 when the Juarez ramp is open. It’s real interesting to see cars just stopped and backed up onto the interstate, as you may have guessed its a recipe for disaster, super unsafe and a just a hot mess. I am guessing city planning or some genius bureaucrat is to blame. Kinda of like we got in there now

Weird thing about Juarez is how ugly it is for such an important city in Mexico, by which i mean it lacks historical architecture like Chihuahua's capital (the city of Chihuahua which is beautiful) or the modern architecture of cities like Monterrey or even Tijuana. I think the Juarez government should invest more in this, their economy is only getting better with time like other northern Mexican cities.

El Paso is the best city to grow and live. Very little crime unless you look for it. Meaning you can travel to 99 percent of the city in the middle of the night and never feel unsafe. You must simply be a hater.

@@davidescobar5366 I don’t think having a dislike for El Paso means they are a hater. Maybe their experience in the city wasn’t so great.
