@@sone9029 in case you haven't found it yet, MMD stands for MikuMikuDance and, as Shyla said, its the program being used for this 3d animation. It is a program specifically made for such projects but it isn't only for music videos. Check out the video series "MMD Cup" for an idea of the non-music video related ways its used. There are literally thousands of different MMD models out there and only about a third that I have found are actually vocaloids.
