2nd Alarm Fire Beech Creek Pennsylvania

Even after 14 years. I still get a little twinge when I see this stuff. For 35 years I was part of the show. So many stories I could tell. Like driving to a worker up winding Jacks Hollow Rd. It was snowing so hard that I had to turn the emergency lights off. The flash in the flakes was blinding me. The guys in the back asked if we got recalled. A younger me would do it all over again.

Its All hands on deck. The older engines with the jake brake like detriot series 60, two stroke detriot, etc. Those I like. Didn't see Tower ladder trucks. Damn that's a lot of tankers. Not even my county in NJ only respeonds with engine, rescure, and Ladder Tower. My town we don't have a tanker truck no more. That unit was from 1982. Now if I have my scanner on. They only call Neighbor fire station with Tanker if need it. John.

Im in the country and all tankers were needed for this fire. The closest ladder is in Lock Haven, 10 miles away.
