the first years i played the violin sitting down with the 2nd teacher i changed he made me play the violin standing up, since then i play standing up. i should mention that in the first years i had a problem with my neck due to the wrong body position, it was fixed because i play standing up. thanks joy🎻

May i ask what can i use for sores/bruising for my under chin? Its getting worse by practicing more. Thanks :)
@rileyjoyly3950Ай бұрын
I'd recommend either getting a special pad for the chinrest (I have a strad pad even though I don't use it anymore) or try different styles! I used to get bad bruising but it stopped once I found the right setup.
