Great video.....Great makes. I was always impressed and in awe of the coat, the moment I saw it. I love seeing you in dresses.....the coat dresses are so well fitted on you. I also enjoy seeing you wearing maxi dresses. The tie die dress you made is an awesome and thorough video. I remember watching the video and thinking "I can definitely make this". They all turned out nicely. Its nice to see what others do. Sometimes I learn something but mostly it allows me to vicariously enjoy the creative process. My favorites were the pink and red dresses. I would love to do one in black. Then I could wear it to work or church or on days when I just want to boost myself up.

Thank you so much. Learning to adjust patterns to fit is an ongoing journey. It's really different for everyone because our bodies are so unique. I teach the basics of pattern adjustments in my online sewing course. I may do some related videos here in the future.

Beautiful! How long does it take you to finish a garment from start to finish?

Thank you! It depends on the style and amount of detail. Fitted garments always take longer for me because of the need for pattern adjustments. I'm a slow sewist, so I typically give myself a week to complete a garments. If the garment is fully lined, I give it 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. I cut and alter the pattern on the first day, two days if necessary. I sew a muslin, if necessary to check fit and make any additional needed adjustments. Then I sew the garment after I achieve the desired fit with the muslin. If it's a very simple pattern, or one I've already adjusted, I can sew it up in one to three days, depending on amount of detail.
