usually in a system there is box rise, depending on your box, even though an amp is wired down to .5 ohm, when it's all said and done your speaker's ohm loads will go up due to many factors with resistance. I have the DC 5k wired down to .5 ohm right now but I'm positive its over 1 ohm due to box rise, i need to make a video and clamp it. I had these soundstreams wired down to 1 ohm but I was seeing 2 ohms out of them due to box rise. Check out my clamping video.
