give Fredro his flowers as an mc and actor .. and Onyx needs to be mentioned more.. their first album came out in 92 when i was in 8th grade about to hit high school.. Onyx second album is a gem and people dont know Fredro produced the best song on that album which is my favorite album of theirs but all albums are fire.. remind me of bubble bear coats, blunts and going to NY from Pa. with the homies.. in 1992 Doctor Dre first album was out, Redman first album, Onyx first album and Pac first album.. Hell of a time to be alive and witness the greatness of all these guys.. Ice Cube predator album, Cypress Hill

Love this dude, I met him in ozone park on 101 Ave. when I used to live in the neighborhood. I was 16-17 then, he seemed surprised I recognized him & that I basically didn’t know what to say. He says to me hey ma what’s up u want an autograph?! I was like um yeah 🥴😄 he stopped at the corner store across the street from McDonald’s. It was a real genuine cool experience to have a few words with him. I’ll always remember that!

That shit made me sad though, cause Spaceman (T Howard’s character) seem like he gone through a lot of shit mentally. And it’s no wonder why that nigga self medicate! You hardly hear about teachers bullying students, you always see students bullying teachers. But luckily the coach had sense to talk to him out of killing his teacher. Spaceman had some kind of sense to go to someone before he would’ve been sent to the big house. He don’t bother nobody and hearing science is his favorite subject? How many black boys you know literally like science other than sports and the streets 🤣? But the coach I fucked with, like some of the boys came to her not only to coach basketball but guidance in a way

Fredro isn’t lying about 2 Pac being the Sun. I remember I went to this industry party in LA after 3 days moving there from Louisiana. This party was so lit 🔥 everyone who was someone was there. The crowd was like the Grammys, Oscars, MYV awards, you name them was in there. I couldn’t believe it coming from a small town in La. with my country ass at the time 😂 Then Pac showed up. I couldn’t take my eyes off of him. It was something about his presence. Very captivating. Man, that dude really knew how to party. He wasn’t even on Death Row. Only thing I knew about him was from Juice and Digital Underground. When I tell you he really knew how to get around. He literally took over the party alone. No crew. Just him. Superstar and stars wanted to party with HIM. So he’s dancing with this girl and she was thick as hell (this was before BBL’s) naturally built nice and a big ole butt. 🤣 She was a little bit taller than him (maybe because of them big boots she had on) And I’m standing right next to him dancing with her & she’s throwing it back on him heavy. Man, Pac was slapping her on her behind like he was riding a horse. 😂 He made it look so easy. She knew how to throw it back and he knew how to handle it. My mouth had dropped to the floor & 1000 flies could’ve flown in it. That’s how shocked I was but it was funny 😆 RIP Pac 🕊️ What that man rapped about, he definitely lived it. I’ll never forget that.

i caught that too and my first thought was "i didnt know/realize that Pac was fuxxin with Suge and them prior to getting locked up". Then i just went and did some research and saw he got the years mixed a bit. no big deal but i definitely wanted clarity before i ran with a thought.

Man, i bought that Sunset Park Soundtrack when it came out. There's a few bangers on there but Onyx's track "Thangz changed" got me hype and played to death. I feel that track was very slept on.

I remember Fredo Starr giving props to Pac in that movie Clockers when he played one of the D-boys on the bench with Mekhi Phifer and Sticky Fingaz. He said he was one of the realest rappers in the game.

They always loved Pac, what I respected about Onyx is that they never chose a side in the so called East vs West coast feud.

@@renzopeterson153 Pac said he loved that song "Walk In New York." It was an NY anthem right before that beef popped off and got heavy.

Yo Fredro this your cousin from Philly. Butch Scruggs son. Not sure if you read the comments but respond if possible. We haven't seen each other since the 90s but I have a movie script idea for us to write and star in. Tubi letting independent movies rock. ✌🏿

Good interview. I think the timeline is a bit off, as Sunset Park came out in '96. That lines up with Pac being on Death Row though so I believe the story, just off a bit on the year. I don't blame fam for being wary of Suge though.
