Greetings from New Zealand. I am a 67 (in 2 weeks) male and live full time in my 4.3m caravan, travelling where I want, when I want. Monday is always my washing day. I started out with a 9m motorhome almost 6 years ago, while I was still working. The motorhome was good (heaps of room), but way bigger than I needed, and I was somewhat restricted in where I could go because of it's size. The caravan works for me because I can park up and then use my tow vehicle to run round in.

@@2Passports1Dream I have thought about this a lot. In my opinion (for what it is worth) a van is ideal if you are looking to change location every 1-2 days. However, if you are planning longer stops in one place, then I think a caravan is more practical. As an example, I have now been at this freedom camp (wild camping) for almost 2 weeks. It is a lovely spot by the beach, but is only about 8km from a small city with supermarkets, laundromat etc.

What a beautiful day and those beaches! Perfect spots you find. I daresay a small bbq grill that would fit in your ‘garage’ gives you another cooking option, weather permitting. You can make pizza and cook on it with the lid on at first. Goes fast too. Prepping veggies is always time consuming, no matter WHAT you’re cooking lol. Have you guys considered an Omnia oven? It doesn't quite replace a full oven obviously but they're great for things like lasagne, shepherds pie, baking, that sort of thing. Gives you a lot more cooking options and it's just about big enough for a two person portion of whatever you're making. I got one this year and I love it,

You guys should consider a ninja 4 in 1 acti fryer. Can use as an oven and to bake things. Small and compact but big enough to roast a chicken in. You will not be disappointed. Love the videos by the way
