In todays video I am showing the process of mixing bright vocals with the help of saturation / harmonic exciters. But there is a catch, I am also using a noise supressor plugin just to make sure that the vocals are still smooth. This is one of my secret mixing tricks that I use to achieve bright vocals.

Hey 2probeats, thank you for all your videos so far! I can't begin to mention the amount of techniques I've picked up in the years I've been following your channel. I somehow forgot you used Studio One and I've been meaning to ask this question to a studio one user: I don't know if you've noticed but the snap to grid settings in studio one aren't exactly the best when compared to DAW's like Logic, Pro Tools and even FL studio. If you have a hook/chorus section you're trying to duplicate in a later part of a song, you have to be particularly careful to make sure it aligns properly instead of trusting the snap settings to accurately place the events in the right place as they would in other DAW's (when the snap setting is set to Bar). Have you noticed this particular issue and if you have, how do you work around working with snap to grid generally in studio one? Any tricks or settings you use? If possible, I'd appreciate a video specifically on this because I'm certain I cant be the only one facing this issue.

ahh i’d always try to use a gate after an exciter, but found it too difficult to dial in perfectly. a noise suppressor instead is genius! do you have any recommendations for a non-Waves noise suppressor?

Hey man,i have one question - i mix my vocals with 2 track wav beat,but i have problem with the low end is too much,how can i fix the low end without ruin the beat?

You can use the izotope spectral shaper on the low end and na ke yhe frequency band very narrow
