I just want to add that Jabra and Lucci described the carnivorous Zoans as having muscular systems that are more physically extreme, so they benefit substantially more from physical training than other Zoans. Lucci is significantly stronger and more muscular in half-beast form than Jabra because Lucci trains harder.

Well it's a good list and although I agree with most of it I do have a few tid bits. 1) I think Boa Sandersonia should be a bit higher on the list than 7 considering how highly you rate Boa Marigold. Mainly because the only real difference between those two is the venom she possesses. 2) I don't really think that the jailers should even be on this list considering how little we know about them. I know that we can assume them to be powerful because of their awakened state, but there just isn't enough data. Also their lessened intelligence due to awakening makes them way less formidable than the experienced fighters of CP9. 3) And finally although I agree that Boa Marigold should be high up there, I do believe you should flip her place with Rob Lucci and I'm going to tell you why. Just look at how easily Luffy defeated both Marigold AND Sandersonia at once. Rob gave him a WAY harder fight. And to this day Rob is one of the few antagonists to nearly kill Luffy with brute strength alone, whereas Marigold had haki at her disposal and still failed to significantly damage him. It's more than safe to assume that if Luffy could overpower her abilities so could Rob, and lets face it, Rob would probably kill her.

The hito hito no mi fruit is indeed a weird one. The fruit itself is suppose to be useless to humans and Oda made it seem like when a human eats one, it doesn't help much. My idea on it is that the human will gain increased strength and become something like Captain America and can increase their size, but otherwise not much else. Unless there are other models that can grant something.

Don't think you can really rate zoan fruits as how effective they are leans more heavily on the user than any other fruit. Like, even in the hands of completely worthless person, if they ate the kobra fruit, they'd still be worthless and if Shanks himself ate the weakest zoan fruit, he'd still be unstoppable. A lot of what you attribute to the devil fruit is actually the user learning and utilizing the devil fruit's power effectively, not really the devil fruit itself. Like what good is the ability to constrict a foe to death if you're as physically capable as a wet noodle? Or what point is a speed increase if you're a fat tub of lard?

Lace King But that's the thing, What a Zoan fruit could add can be extremely exaggerated or completely downplayed depending on how the user utilizes it. Like the falcon fruit, likely only Pell could utilize it to pick things up as heavy as that bomb. That isn't a simple addition of the fruit itself. And if Ussopp ate the falcon fruit, he may not be able to lift big things in the sky but he likely could fly up super high were he could safely snipe anyone he wanted with his enhanced sight but being able to snipe at that distance isn't an attribute of the fruit, but to Ussopp using the fruit in his way. I bet if Pell tried to snipe people from high up, he would simply get sniped and fall to his death.

when you consider that both rob lucci and chopper have unlocked additional forms besides the basic 3 with chopper even unlocking his monster point through the use of the rumble ball i don't consider the jailer beasts as having awakened their devil fruits or at least not properly awakened. for one they seem to be stuck in that 1 form which doesn't seem right considering other awakened fruits retain their original abilities and can switch in and out of their awakened states, so having an awakened zoan fruit user become stuck doesn't seem like an upgrade i actually think that the jailer beasts are the result of a zoan user trying to awaken their fruit and failing leaving them stuck while choppers multiple forms including monster point would be considered a true awakening if he ever gains the ability to freely switch between all of them including monster point without the use of the rumble ball

Zoans are in my view one of the most underrated series of DFs. They are my favorites, because of just how dangerous some animals can be. Seriously, Lucci is pretty scary, but then again he's strong by himself. As for two Zoan fruits, I'd like to see: A Honey Badger based DF and a Gorilla based DF. Honey Badgers are scary animals and really do not give an F. And Gorillas I love. Imagine a revolutionary having a Gorilla based DF and can use Armament Haki. Puts a whole new meaning in Donkey Kong. :)

David Ok, assuming what you said is true, then that means Luffy can be hurt with blunt force, with no devil fruit or haki involved. However, i was also under the assumption that Luffy was impervious to all physical attacks since he's made of rubber? I don't know how it works, since Luffy can even block/rebound bullets.. why can't he just take punches also and reflect them back? I'm also not convinced that Rob Lucci has/had no Haki, since he was probably vice admiral level or so, and CP9 and they can use other 'haki' kind of feats.. like sky jump and tekkai and that shit.. and if the henchman can use them, him being the leader should also be able to use them, and at a higher level. Anyhow, do you remember anyone else hurt Luffy with just pure strength and no haki/devil fruit? Mythical and Rare zoans are obviously the best devil fruit in one piece.Marco and sengoku both have a mythical zoan devil fruit.Also we know sengoku devil fruit is really strong but we don't know all its abilities.Marco devil fruit is also completely different , it focuses on regen which segoku is power.Also sengoku is stronger than marco physically so even if his devil fruit sucked he would stil be stronger.Out of usefulness marco devil fruit would definitely be better.

Going by the potential of the fruits themselves, and discounting the ancient and mythical zoans, I would actually say that the best Zoan is easily actually the Zou Zou no Mi that was eaten by Spandam's sword Funkfreed. Given it was kind of wasted since Spandam is a spineless loser with no real combat ability, but objectively speaking, the sheer amount of strength one would get from being able to transform into an elephant, the creature that is easily the strongest of all extant terrestrial animals is completely unmatched by anything that isn't an ancient or mythical zoan. None of the other normal zoans come anywhere close to matching it. As such, it really is a shame it was wasted on a guy like Spandam.

for the turtle-turtle fruit here is how i would use it: use #1: while running at max speed leap at foe and transform, slamming into enemies. from the size of Pekoms the weight of his turtle body might be around the largest tortoise in the world. .for a tortoise that's 16mm it can weigh around 0.482 kgs./ft. so getting hit by something that heavy, and as hard as diamonds by someone who could clock in at running 44.72 km/h, then slamming into you......that's going to hurt! use #2: say you suplex a guy, stunning as you jumping into the air then transform before falling. use #3: if your on your back go hybrid form, then with your legs or arms, push yourself with enough for to slide on your back, making you a ground sliding wrecking ball. that is a few ways to use this fruit offensively.

Not sure if Chopper's Hito Hito no Mi deserves to be that high on the list if you're just evaluating the powers & abilities that the fruit bestows on the user. Most of Chopper's abilities & different forms discussed are artificial enhancements that were a result of him eating the rumble ball. So it's not really fair to compare other zoan-type's abilities to this artificially enhanced zoan-type abilities.
