I bought one online an i thought it was broken. Its kept doing its own thing when powered on but i had it upside down the whole time. That orientation knowledge was golden for me. Works perfect now

This was really helpful. A lot of people said it wouldn't work with the note 10+, but This mount still works with the Samsung Note 10+

Mine hasn't arrived yet, but a little research goes a long way, @6:22 The zoom part you mentioned is just the basic mode (a quick finder to get you started), you can get smooth zoom to work with the app. As most have mentioned excellent vid, which I have saved for future watches, like the other parts to this, so thanks for this vid, very informative.

It appeared to be perfect. When I put my Note on it with its protective Spigen case, the motor kept "giving up" and the phone would sag/drop. I had to reboot (power on & then off) the device, reconnect it to the Bluetooth, and try again. I never got it to work like I liked. Here was a lot of hassle and when you're filming you son play football, you need to be ready at all time. I decided to send it back. Build quality is good. No joystick action with the action button. Will borrow another brand from a buddy and see if that can hold up my big-as* phone.

Hi mate! I have an Iphone8plus and a Smooth Q. How can i calibrate it? The camera is a few grades uncalibrated. I have to make some weight with my finger to calibrate it, but when I take off my finger it returns to that uncalibrated position. Help please

Hello. I bought a smooth q today at Best Buy. $85.73 grand total! So not bad. I have a iPhone XS Max (apples biggest phone in terms of size, dimensions etc) my problem is balancing my phone on my smooth q. If I could only extend the arm a tad bit farther I know it would be balanced well....only off by maybe a 3/16” . I feel my only concern is that the motors would wear out faster be it that it is a slightly heavy phone and just slightly off balanced. The instruction manual did mention motor wear do to this...but I imagine that’s only if phone is very unbalanced. Should this concern me? Once powered it balances out perfect and I don’t notice anything out of the norm. I should state also that this is my first gimbal and just want to get the best out of this product unless there’s something else in the market for a beginner like myself with my current phone. I appreciate your input and videos! as to why I chose to go buy one today (Labor day)! Thank you!

Thank you for this explanation. I first thought that the gimbal didn't work, but after seeing this video I put it up correctly (checking the logos/writings) and now it seems to work. I have troubles with the mode selection. If I click MODE once or twice it does not do anything (as far as I can see). Only the selfy mode works, but I'm not to sure if I'm always in the shot when moving the gimbal around. Do you have tricks/tests one can do to check if the gimbal enters a desired mode?

Hi there! I just purchased a Smooth Q to use with my iphone 7plus. Because I create how to videos outside, and move around potentially alot, I need to have something more than just the mic in the camera for recording good audio. I do quite a few Live Videos. I have a plug in mic with a long cord that has worked in the past (before the gimbel) while I was using just a tripod. My iphone of course has only one port that is in an inconvenient location for plugging in my dongle/mic set up, and sets the gimbel off balance. What I need is a dongle with a 90 degree angle lightening connection so that the phone does not sit so far out, causing imbalance in the gimbel frame. I cannot find one. So, wondering what are some alternatives for getting great audio for a Live Video? I did just purchase a microphone/recorder that will record audio to a digital card that I can then bring to my computer for video creating editing (of course this will not work with Live Videos). Anyone have any ideas? Goal is to be able to create Live Videos in an outdoor venue with awesome audio, using my gimbel. Thanks a million!!!!
