When I first heard about these guys, I thought Lord Leech was specifically Festus the Leechlord, and he was secretely manipulating them all. It would make sense, he was a former doctor seeking cures to disease too.

I can definitely picture these two former alchemists sitting in the middle of a swamp, covered in muck, wearing ragged tatty armour and carrying weapons, watching someone be dragged away screaming and thinking "..... Man, remember when people *liked* us"

Love this idea. I wish the alchemy went a step further and we had failed experiments being unleashed on the table. More Jekyll and Hyde stuff

I really hope we get more lore on the original warbands. Of course my bias wants Splintered Fang specifically.

Ogors need some love, if you're looking for ideas. Unfortunately, the available material is scarce. I only know of a few snippets in the Battletome.

As Obi-Wan would put it: "you have become the very thing you swore to destroy" Amazing breakdown, never really saw the "lord leech" thing that way

Videos on the CITIES of the Cities of Sigmar. I want to know more about each individual city like land marks, building styles, culture and maybe if there is a bit about how they speak. (sorry I'm an aspiring linguist)

Maybe u expect a bit too much lore from GW. Tolkien is maybe better

Also Warhammer+ just drop animation about Savage tribe fight city people and killing daemon in the name of their gods(which is clearly chaos gods)
@evanraynolds86992 жыл бұрын
i have a video request. i do not have the slaves to darkness battletome, but i would love to hear about the gods you described that are just the chaos gods in more paltable forms. I wanna have a video about the guys like Lord Leech, who are just the chaos gods under different names.

This lore sounds a lot more like tzeentch lore but with plague… and now it’s nurgle.

I was wondering if you knew anything about the hobgrot slittaz sulphuric scrap grenades it says in the warscroll …and employing explosive devices pilfered from their duardin paymasters… does this mean kruleboyz have some relationship to dwarves?
@angelicdespot2735 Жыл бұрын
Not sure if you ever found your answer but this is hinting at chaos dwarves. In the old warhammer Fantasy, pre-AOS, the Chao dwarves employed hobgoblin a lot. They also worshipped Hashut, who we now see being referenced by the other Warcry warband facing off against the Rotmire Creed.

I'd like your thoughts on the book Age of Sigmar: Godsbane. It's a very long audiobook but it has a ton of great scenes and gave me absolute Soulbound vibes
@adambielen89962 жыл бұрын
That novel was just a train wreck of unnecessary weird shit and wrong lore. The author has written some very good Lumineth stories but he does not understand other factions very well. And the entire plot was silly, overblown, and unnecessary.

It's a really cool backstory but why would they choose a skull with three cuts on the forehead as a their symbol? Why not a leech as in Lord Leech or something?
@thesolantor8624 Жыл бұрын
If you look up a picture of a Leech's jaw you'll see they have 3 curved teeth in the form of a triangle, if a large enough leech existed and it were to lartch onto someones skull they would likely have 3 holes in a triangular shape.
