Opposing mentalities of two lodges where for one "the ends always justify the means" vs "the means define us as a people"...VERY interesting!

I Loved the mention of the Runedaughter. I am really hopeful for female fyreslayer models in the future as they have come up frequently in a couple short stories I belive "Ashes of Grimir" and the Vostag short story from White dwarf from June 2019. Not to mention the art work for Soulbound. I appreciate the idea and story elements that can come from backing chaos for Ur-Gold like the Greyfyrd, but for my lodge that's a no for me. I do think that in the newest Battletome lore sections there was a bit more shade thrown at the Greyfyrd for working with chaos than in previous editions which I thought was interesting.

I wanna see some golem like a duardin Fyreslayer who died in battle but came back to life, becoming a massive golem-like monster made of gold, iron and magma mixture.

Greyfyrd are my favorite to play as, Herdar are my favorite lore wise as they are the most willing to work with others benevolently and I just think that’s neat Also kickass work man! Keep it the awesome work!

Hermdar is my favorite they are the guy you can count on and their loyalty. They won't stab you in the back just for a smalles piece of ur-gold like Greyfyrd.

My custom lofge is very Hermdar leaning. Their entire thing is that they believe that slaying the greatest beasts they can find in noble battles is what will make Grimnir proud once he comes back

I loved this one. Love hearing about the slayers. Hearing this I'd definitely play Hermdar if they had a better trait, lol. Love to see a video detailing the Magmadroths and Lofnir though. Lofnir shot up competitively but the rules shouldn't ever be the main reason to play a sub faction in my opinion. I'd love to hear how they are lorewise. (might convince me to go off my chaos mercenary dwarves, lol)

They've dope lore. Now if only they didn't all look the same. I get that slayers don't wear armor, but I feel like AoS has deviated far enough from the core lore slayer concept that we could have some fyreslayers in armor. That'd at least make them look more distinct on the tabletop. Up close they already do, sure, even if the concept theme is shared across the entire army. But when you look at a fyreslayer army on a tabletop from a top-down view, all lined up, the only unit that stands out from one another is the magmadroth, and I really think that's a problem. It's one Sylvaneth has to an extent, too, with being split off from the old Wood Elf roster to focus on a singular theme.

You can be honorable and work for anybody if the price is right. They are honorable keeping their word having the job done, no matter what. In crappy D&D would be "Legal"

Which lodge was it that made a deal with the Stormcasts and then had to fight Skarbrand in the Realmgate wars? Cause those guys seemed very honorable. I think they were on a quest to retrieve Skarbrand's chain or something.

I always disliked the fact that such a cool faction of dwarfs had 0 honor and were ready to sell their mom for ur gold, I get that greed is a big part of dwarfs lore, but back in fantasy, slayers we’re defined by trying to meet an honorable death in battle. I’m glad this new lodge is closer to the fantasy dwarves

I'm so worried about the future that I've even lost my appetite and sleep. About future of Warhammer, of course. Today I read the discussion "Should I start acquaintance with 40k with Horse Heresy?". Such an argument is not worth it, because the books of Heresy were written to show "what was before" and how it became what it is in the 40k now. But what does GW do? I don't understand. Creating Heresy as a separate "universe" now? So that everyone sits in their echo chamber, so that to get acquainted with Heresy you don't need to know anything about 40k, even about the existence of this? After all, this has been happening for a long time with the Warhammer Age of Sigmar. For many (very toxic) people, this doesn't exist and is completely ignored. It all depends on whether the GW will show the connection between the past and the future as a chain of events in new "old world" or will prefer to "stand with the suffering" without reminding them of their "pain of loss" (sarcasm here).
