One of my favourite things I recently learned about the Kruleboyz is from Soulbound. For their own part, Kruelboyz regard teaming up with Order races in a Binding as a pretty sweet deal; it gives them lots of benefits and only barely reduces the number of people they can torment. In fact, it's implied that many Soulbound Kruleboyz actually come to like being heroes deep down, though they're too proud to admit they could enjoy being a "goody two-shoes". They legit made them into canonical tsunderes.

Their manipulation of the environment and torture of opponents through psychological and chemical warfare are really shown in the table top too- the black pit spell is awesome, and a nice call back to the dominion book.

One of my favorite things about the Kruleboyz is how they interact with Kragnos. He himself isn’t revered for who he is, they rather are drawn to him for how they could use him - it fits their theme and makes sense for such a malevolent faction. It gives the impression that Kragnos would stomp them as soon as he learns what they’re up to. If only someone other than Gobsprakk could speak with him

I would argue that the orruks are the PROTAGONISTS of the Domion/Age of Beasts arc in contrast to the invading antagonist force of the Dawnbringer Crusades and the Stormcast Eternals. Yes, this is the hill I have chosen to die on.

Part of the reason I love these guys is that for me they feel like a cool intersection between Warhammer Orks ( how wild and goofy they can be and their naming conventions) and lord of the ring Orcs (they use their environment to their advantage,use beasts of burden and are very dishonorable)

I think if Kruleboys and Ironjawzs fight each other, Ironjaws will always get upper hands because the psychological warfare is not effective against Ironjaws.

Wait! If the Deepkin, Kruleboyz, Beastclaw Raiders and Nurgle all bring their respective environments with them, transforming the lands around them. What happens when those environments clash? Would Beastclaws freeze over a Nurgle infestation for example?

I made mine desert dwelling enslavers. Love the Vulture, just wish there was another infantry choice or two (Not a fan of the many hero/low troops army)

People think that the Kruleboyz are evolutionary offshoots of your standard Orruk but that's not entirely true. They’re actually descendants of Azog after he was transported to AoS and managed to get some tail.

I absolutely love the Sloggoth for two reasons: #1. It looks so creepy. Not in a monster way, but like seeing Dobby's crackhead, foot-fetishist cousin Cletus in BDSM gear being walked with a leash on all fours kind of creepy. #2. It's ability: Grot Snatcha-krew: "At the end of the combat phase, you can pick 1 enemy model within 2" of this unit and roll a dice. If the roll is at least double that model's Wounds characteristic, it is slain." This is amazing as an infantry clearer since it just deletes any model with 3 or less wounds at best with absolutely no save. Liberators are 2 wounds, meaning there's a 33% chance one of them is just deleted. Now let's assume you have a 2000 point army. If you took the cheapest, bare-minimum battleline and cheapest hero (3 Boltboyz and a Murknob) you can have 10 Sloggoths. This means at best you will be able to straight up *delete* 10 low-wound models every combat phase, while on average you are almost guaranteed to delete at least 1 per combat phase. It's very situational cheese, but cheese nonetheless.

The funny part is that "moruk" is a Turkish word that means as much as "vulture", but it's also used in a similar fashion akin to "dude" sometimes, whereby the "dude" would be more used in a derogatory fashion, like in a "What the fuck do you want, dude?" kinda sense.

I am bit late to the party, but I always loved orks and the feel of them. However I disliked black orcs a lot, always enjoying the goblins way of mork more in Old world. When AoS launched Inwas skeptical and didnt give it a chance, however with the release of Kruleboyz I am all for it. i like their human look, their mork focused fighting. GW really did a great job at creating a spinn of greenskin faction for people like me.

THE ANGRY MEAN SHREKS!!!! Okay they not ogres. but they are greenskinned and live in swamps and dont want people in there swamps. I got the dominion box set for xmas this year. I bought the audiobook and thanks to both I love the idea of these guys. The swamp shaman is the coolest looking model in the set too. With his little pot-grot buddy. Normally greenskins are bad enough. Buuut these ladz take it to a new level with ACTIVE malice in there attitude and intentions. where as most regular greenskins are just brutal like all greenskins have been. these creeps are downright genuine mean and nasty cause they like it. they remind me of ork kommandos from 40k. they have a clear intention with there actions. not just mindless mayhem. And They enjoy results from it instead of passing it off as just part of battle like an ironjaw would.

Dominion is the best deal, by far. The only benefit to the other is some terrain. Depends on if you want to wait for multiparty kits for some of the units, I suppose, and that trumps monetary savings for you

I had a great idea for an Ironjawz Megaboss who tried to duel a Killboss for the right to lead and was instead shot in the back. So now he just leads his WAAAGH! to hunt down every Kruelboy tribe he can find (and fight things along the way) because he thinks they are an insult to Orruk kind.

I wish these just weren't orkz and were hobgoblins or something. They're really not Orks imo. Then again I also just really dislike their casts, compared to real Orks.
