2up on the TRANS EURO TRAIL with RAIN and MUD (riding the DANGEROUS D915 road)

In this episode of We Are Adventure Riders, we ride more of the Trans Euro Trail in the Trabzon region of North East Turkey, but this time we end up in the clouds, with rain, wet and muddy roads, and zero visibility!
Still riding with Marc and Lisa (actually, we will now be travelling with these guys for a few weeks), we leave our beautiful lakeside camp and head for more off road on the way back to Trabzon. But after Lisa has a crash, we damage our camera, then get a bit lost, we decide to head back to the town more quickly (and unfortunately all our cameras run out of battery).
We spend a couple of days in Trabzon getting some things done, such as new tyres, bike maintenance, life admin. Then as a group, we head back to the mountains for more TET riding. The main challenge of this route would be the infamous D915 road from Of to Bayburt, listed as one "the worlds most dangerous roads" it has a section which runs up the side of a super steep cliff, with numerous switchbacks and huge drops to the side of a rocky and narrow track - NOT a good idea in the wet, but we do it anyway and survive to tell the tale!
After a picturesque but very stinky camp (due to nearby dead cows!) we picked up the next TET route which would first take us along some nice tarmac roads, through a 17km long tunnel, and again up into the clouds on some muddy roads into some very remote villages! We end up back down in the beautiful Fertina Creek.
All in all a great couple of days riding and camping!!

Awsome trip and roads,Just a thought try midas dakar tires they are rugged and durable ,the rocks will bounce off instead of cut them , you wont be sorry I am on my 3rd set ,Buy the best and F ... the rest ..ride safe.

Hey Mary! We don't yet have videos about packing and gear etc. But they will come in the future. We packed well and had everything we needed. Lucie had plenty of space and comfort on the back ☺️
