As a Michigan based angler, I’m glad to see our state’s lakes and rivers get some spotlight. I feel like every other body of water besides Lake St Clair get overlooked but we have some of the best fishing in the country. Walleye, bass, catfish, sturgeon, salmon, etc. We have it all! If you guys ever come back check out the Cass River in Frankenmuth. That is one of the best bass spots in the southeast, plus you’ll get to explore an amazing town.

@@aleckchavez4569 if you're in the city, check out Aurora Reservoir. Decent trout population in there and fairly easy but definitely not much else that'd I'd recommend in city . Other than that, plenty of good fishing in FoCo, Loveland, Co Springs, Pueblo, Evergreen, Georgetown, Summit County areas.

Y’all come to colorado next. It’ll be hard to get a lot of species because of the high elevation. Also it’s cold enough that the lakes are frozen over, so ice fishing opens some possibilities. Rocky Mountains rock! 🤘

I live in Colorado as well. There actually is a decent amount of different fish species out here. Colorado Parks and Wildlife has an ok app with tons of local information on the lakes. We even have tiger Muskie at alpine elevations.

Michigan is my home state, easily the best fishing in the north, probably doesn't top Florida or Texas with bass, but it makes up for it by having massive pike, musky, trout, steelies, and the amazing drum spawns on lake Michigan. Last July I went back up to Michigan for the drum spawns(from Tennessee) I got there right at the end of it and caught my fair share of good fish. It was great.
