Yo Jon and Lojo are out here doing charity. They competed in a multi-species challenge and sent their competition to....Louisiana. Land of bayou, swamp, lakes, ponds, rivers, brackish marshes, saltwater flats, and damn near every other type of aquatic habitat imaginable. True charity, donating that win lol. Bless them boys. Also, if you're hitting Flagstaff, you should definitely hit Oak Creek. One black Panther Martin and Jon and LoJo could've crossed off brown trout and rainbow EASILY, right off the side of the highway.

Man lojo and JB got shafted with their location. Just no way to compete with Louisiana. Having salt, brackish, and fresh water fishing… the challenge was over before it started. I love these series, but this one was never a fair fight. However, their last day on havasu looked awesome. I was on that lake 20 years ago, but not to fish. Such a gorgeous body of water and I’d love to get back out there to fish it

45:10 I am pretty sure that is a Musky. I fish Northern Pike a lot here in Ontario Canada, I also caught a few Musky. This looks way more like a Musky than a Pike. It’s possible it is a hybrid, because pike/ musky hybrid exists here

This series was awesome but I think we need a rematch. Arizona only has like 40 species vs Louisiana with 220 ish and (165ish being freshwater) and team WINNERS still fished both salt and fresh just felt like cheating.(when the other team doesn’t have that option) I mean I really enjoyed it but doesn’t feel like a deserved victory. When even if they would have only fished freshwater they had a chance to get 120 species without ever going to Venice. I’m glad we got some love here though hope y’all enjoyed it.

I wish I knew about Googan before this has happened. I am a medical retired vet that fished when I was a young kid from AZ. That’s all I know about fishing regular water is from AZ. I have 6 Enders rods and they don’t make them anymore so I got a Googan black series med/heavy and looked into Googan squad and just laughed at the videos. I could have helped out with all the ponds and private lakes in PHX and had a great funny time. I now watching all the old and new funny videos. 👍 great job. Will look and see next time I hear you are coming back to AZ.

You guys should check out Northern California, Shasta County has Lake Shasta,Whiskeytown Lake and the Sacramento River all within 30 minutes of each other all big bodies of water with awesome fishing everywhere 🤙

LOJO....if that was your 1st Small Mouth...you really need to come fish Lake St. Clair in MI! I live in Northern Indiana but have fished the lake numerous times....1 Day at about 1-2pm.....I almost couldn't even set the hook anymore.....literally the rod popped out of my hand! Smallmouth are Freshwater Tuna! They fight like NO other Freshwater Fish....Sooooo.....Fun!

That was a hammer handle sized Tiger Musky from that lake in Flagstaff...which means they should have stayed a little longer to catch an actual Northern Pike. But that's part of the challenge...knowing your species.

As an az native half way through the video, Az is brutal. we have a saying out here "If you can can catch a fish in AZ (or some generic az lake placed here) you can catch a fish anywhere. and there's a truth to it tbh, az bass are so temperamental compared to most states, aggressive yet picky but we also have tons of trout, catfish and sunfish opportunity throughout the state

Personally I’d love to see googan target other species than bass. I know the crappie line and micro baits are out there. I’ve always been a mutli-species guy, extremely surprised they didn’t use all the minnows and caught shad as live bait.

Arizona has some great natives that are attainable and some invasives that can be caught as well. The gila trout is an example of a native out there. But there are also transplanted coosa bass for example for invasives
