The pro link swingarm is stock on the 250 and the frame was painted white. The yfz has a lowering kit in the front. The shocks should bolt straight to the a arms, not thoes brackets someone put on. And that fuel line going to the carb on the quad is not a fuel line, it's a gas cap breather. Replace with a straight piece of fuel line. You don't want all thoes bends in the line.

Hi I have been watching a lot of your videos and learned soo much about small engine rebuilding. Your videos are like a master class on motorcycle repair. I'm also not ashamed to admit I'll never understand how carburators work, they make absolutely no sense to me lol. I also wanted to ask about something else, some of the motorcycles you repair don't have valves like that old 125 you rebuilt. I'm curious what advantage valves and cams give you over the older way they built 2 cycle motors with out them? Is it more horse power and better fuel management? Just curious. Thanks for your videos and all of the great information.

It runs good most of the time but from time to time it will start leaking gas from the one hose underneath coming from the carb and it turns off and i struggle to start it back up as if I was flooded I think but it will leak fuel non stop if I don’t close the valve. Give it more than a few kicks with valve off and it will start then I quickly open the valve again and have to keep pushing the throttle till it settles again

It is absolutely insane how many people just sell their bikes in the USA. It is impossible to find bikes in this easy fix condition at those prices where i live.

I CAN NOT STAND the way those blue rags sound on camera😂😂😂 now I would just like to say thank you for the videos, it nice to see someone go through the entire diag process and not bullshot when something is wrong.

That CR is the same year range that i have, mine is a 91. It blew a rod bearing when i was 18, and my dad kept saying we'll fix it, or i didnt have the money. Well this year i had the crank pressed apart and a new bearing, got new bearing for the care and turns out the case is cracked. A friend of mine said the aluminum guy at his shop could weld if for me, he ran a bead a across the crack without cleaning it and didnt weld the gasket surface. So i decided to grind it down because it needed welded again, here because he didnt prepare it there were bubbles deep into the metal l had to grind most of it away just to get pack the bubbles. I'm not mad at the welder because he didnt want any money for it, even tho i offered to pay and would have rather paid to have it done well. Anyways i called around and no one wants to do it, but i was refered to a guy who could help me, however december rolled around and my wife reminded me that we have kids. So i have to wait, even tho i have more than enough for both christmas and the weld, but the bikes cursed or i am, everytime make a step there is something standing in my way.
