Does anyone know what brake shoes fit on the 650 V-Strom 2015 that works also on a car or only about $20 a set and about all automotive shops have them I bought a set at 9:10 years ago but I can't remember what I ordered

What kind of lift are you using for the front tire? I see it goes directly into those holes on the bottom of the forks.

How did you stop the rear wheel from turning while you were torque down the big bolt to 75ftpound, I missed it but it seemed that you put a screwdriver into the chain to stop it from moving, anyway, thanks for the video.

I noticed that you didn't unbolt the brake caliber and pull it out of the slot on the swing arm and then hand it to the side ? I did this last time and had a hard time getting it back in place . Unless I missed something this looks much easier to get everything lined up, correct??

Left it in place. May have to spread the pads a bit but wheel/rotor should slide right back into place.

This was helpful. You flew past the removal and the reinstall of the ABS sensor part so I missed seeing what that looked like. I also wanted to see the chain tightening part.

I know this is about a year old but I am about to remove my back wheel on my '13 dl650 myself, to save some money. I'm new to wrenching on my own bike (only changed oil & filter, cleaned & lubed chain), so this video is a live saver! What I'm worried about most is the chain, though. How do I set the tension? Do I need a specific tool to do that? Also, it was stressed to me not to mix up the spacers. Why is that? Thanks!

No special tool is needed to set the chain tension. Be sure when checking the tension to check it in a few spots, meaning check it, rotate the rear wheel, and then check the chain in another spot. Chains don't always wear evenly. If you want to take the guess work out, I like using this tool from motion pro amzn.to/3ocd2w1 Another good tool to help with proper rear wheel alignment is this tool from Motion Pro. I keep a couple of each in my garage amzn.to/3ySH4tv That being said, neither are necessary but are nice to haves.

You mentioned using silicon on the rubber bumper blocks at the rear sprocket. Are you simply spraying down the Rubber with silicone spray? Have never done it but I am always up for new information! Great video

I recently changed the tires at the local shop and since then I noticed that the motorcycle is off vertical (leaning slightly to the left) when riding. I did not notice any vibrations and the motorcycle is not pulling to the side when let go off the handlebar. Do you know what may be the reason for this?

Getting that rear back on is a pain. There is no clearance to play with. That bushing that keeps popping off lines up with brake caliper that lines up with the alxe. P.I.T.A.
