Emma Carraro Hurting Belle just to get at 'the crocodile' was a heinous act of villainy. He *shot* her in the *back*. If he were only willing to hurt Rumplestiltskin, it would be different; he's just an outlaw with a grudge. But once you go after a man's family, the gloves are off. That's why I'm so glad he met Emma. She gave him a reason to leave all that behind.

i think people are downplaying hook's villainy. literally everyone but cruella had reasons why they became villains, but that does not mean they are any less awful because something had triggered them to be villains. I'm glad that emma didn't just immediately fall in love with him; they had to build a solid connection and trust before taking that step, which makes their relationship stronger.

lol i just realized you mentioned snowing, swanfire and rumbelle and then theres outlawqueen, OMG whereas "the start of robin/regina happened with many hesitations of a low rank princess/farmgirl meeting a high rank theif who stole from the rich, thanks to a green fairy. soon that same outlaw married a maiden, raised their son alone, indirectly not knowing that same farmgirl who become an evil queen, killed his wife then 30yrs later they meet finally after her older 1/2sis tries to kill her out of envy their mother gave her the life, her bigsis was denied, then almost 2yrs later, that same 1/2sister stole the babysis outlaw bf by killing his sons babymama in the past, tricked him into think she was his dead wife, then had his baby, only for a few months later where her own bf tried to kill her lil sis, but her babydaddy died to save her little sister, and so bigsis killed the only boy she ever truly cared about when in reality she loved her daughters daddy just as much as her baby sis did. 25yrs later. her daughter grows up and is about to marry wish-hooks daughter from wonderland, and other places. yes i think robin hood would be proud of his kids, if only we saw roland in the series finale with gideon" 🙄🤣 still feel like with madarchers spinoff we might see roland and gideon, but srsly s7s timeline is so effed up. especially in the series finale whereas all the kids of storybrooke are all wrong. august is the eldest and was in his early-40s but hes gone back to been 10yo again, then theres the two henry's of jared's wish-henry who is 19yo and andrew's older-henry who's like what 30-something, then its baby neal who's now 5yo, robin who's now 25yo, and gideon who was 18yo in 7x04 but as of lucy's age been 10yo, gideon is now 29yo too since belle when he was 19yo. so since bc we never saw alexandra, phillip jr they must be still IDKY 8yo i guess, they were 2yrs older than baby neal, so. and then there's hope, who was still a newborn as captainswan were like a year older after 7x02 when they last saw older henry. so thanks for reading, hope this helps. but srsly s7s timeline is more confusing since gothel/drizellas curse had goldenknightrook/wickedqueenrobin/henrys family trapped in the past 5yrs after s6finale, before henry leaves storybrooke in 7x01 like wth!

I love that Hook probably thought he could easily pull one over on these women from the fairytale world, but he wasn't counting on Emma being raised in the real world.. How long do you think he hid under there? An hour? Maybe more? If you know how to truly listen, you can gain information on people before you even meet them. Hook knew it was four woman. He knew they didn't have magic (at least not yet, with Emma). He knew if a fight broke out, he could take them all in a matter of minutes.. But Emma was different, right from the very beginning. She knew something was off, she knew it wasn't like Cora to leave a survivor, that it was too messy... She never bought his story, and you can tell everyone else did when Emma tied him to the tree. *They believed him* but she didn't, and that's why Hook was so impressed with her.

I keep thinking that Hook had to felt some sense of respect and probably saw that as foreplay except for the whole possible slit throat deal but I think he knew she wouldn't. She has a good sense of when someone is lying and he might have a good sense when someone is actually threatening to kill.

Y'know, considering how he was undercover as a blacksmith for a few months according to Mulan... Killian must know at least SOME blacksmithing. He wouldn't have been able to play the part convincingly if not. And now I desperately want to know how he came to learn blacksmithing. I still wish there had been some connection between Hook and PotC, like... maybe Davy Jones was a lady in this AU and his mom?? Maybe the lucky ring from s5 came from her?? Maybe he learned blacksmithing from Will? Ugh, for all I love what they did with Killian's character (truly a fantastic redemption arc), I really really wish we had known more about his backstory, see just how true "it's all I could do to survive" holds up in his past.
