Hey everyone, and welcome to this first upload for Creepytober 2024! I hope everyone enjoys this year's batch of narrations. As always, be sure to check the description for any information about music I used, fanart used (if any, though it's not really applicable in this case), and the link to where I found the original work! As I stated in my Community Tab post about this, we're back in full force this year, with a Creepytober upload EVERY THURSDAY THIS MONTH, all the way through to Halloween! I hope everyone's October is off to a good start! Also, you don't wanna be scared AND dehydrated, so DRINK WATER

@@hongjoongsfluffyhat Thank you! I figured that'd be a cool idea to distinguish the narration for this from the way I usually do it, since this is meant to be from the POV of a digital/computerized entity.

Hey, my friend sent me this as they found it browsing the Pokepasta tag and I was so excited to see it!! I wrote this pasta, and was so shocked to see anyone outside my friend circle even read it-I never expected anyone to read it, much less make a dramatic reading! It's like an old fantasy of mine before I took a shot at writing anything...! Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to do this reading, my friends loved it too and were very entertained!! ;o;;b Originally I wrote this to vent my frustrations with living with a family member who has an animal hoarding problem, and every day I'd have to live with them screeching and rattling cages/enclosures, and sometimes was even asked to take care of them despite never being asked if I was OK living with them. But at the same time I just ended up having fun making a silly Pokepasta with a Porygon who had insane dialogue, esp cuz I rarely saw Pokepasta from the Pokemon's perspective..! It ended up not taking itself very seriously but I kinda love that about it haha Sorry for the crazy ramble here!! Keep up the amazing work, and thank you again!!

@@poketronex Oh wow, thanks for the comment! I think this is genuinely the first time the original author of any of these narrations I've done has actually come to a video I've done to talk about what they wrote, haha. This was a really fun one to do! I've talked about this a lot, but I always prefer to do in-universe horror as opposed to the cliche "haunted game cartridge" stuff that so many PokePastas go with, and this was a really cool one conceptually, since I think this is the first one I've ever read that actually involved the PC Boxes as the actual catalyst for the story. I'm glad this was a way to vent some old frustrations for you, and I'm really glad you liked the narration I did! 😁

I've played around with a few ideas in Pokepastas but it's hard to come up with something new or at least rarely done...! I had one where the game isn't necessarily haunted, but there was a mushroom/zombie outbreak from the Paras only encounter floor in Mt Moon in a free FireRed ROM OP found online, but I gotta revisit it eventually cuz there were some parts I really didn't like it in the end haha. Recently made one really quick that's not so much a haunted game as it is a weird entity pretending to be a Pokemon game, and it swaps humans trapped inside the game with the person playing it, and if the human inside wins (in a battle against the player) and escapes they take the current player's body. Sorry again for the ramble just way into Pokepastas again lately nyahaha. I saw you did Cheap Figures too! It's one of my fav Pokepasta and has stuck with me since I read it!

Ahh this gives me so much nostalgia, I missed your pasta readings The porygon voice makes it even better too like omg?? I love the immersion a whole lot, I can’t wait to see the rest of October’s uploads!!

@@springystarscout Thank you so much! That really means a lot 😊 And yeah, I really am glad that people like the stuff I did with the voice on this one, I figured it'd fit with the narrator being a Porygon, haha

I'll be honest tho, I think the "fleshy sounds" had too much squishing and not enough crunching/snapping. But otherwise, I liked it! You have a great narration voice that you don't hafta try to be edgy.

@@RisuRazyeon Thank you! Yeah, that's fair about the flesh sounds I used -- it's hard finding one that would actually kinda fit considering this is all supposed to be taking place on a digital plane, haha.
