Good battle with the exception of the defense of the fire archers. If Golden Knights had been unleashed earlier in the battle, so many more knights could have been saved. I like the new look Knights!

Dude, this is by far the most realistic battle I have seen. I may have perhaps put about 10-20 golden knights around the archers (super ones) or interspersed the golden knights throughout the archers to protect them. Also I would have placed 10-15 golden knights to protect the catapults. I also would have intermixed the knights with the footman. I would have changed the heavy knights with the golden knights to attack the Persian base. I do not know if there is a way to make "losing" soldiers "advance to the rear" before they are annihilated. This would allow those troops to rally and regroup before being annihilated. That is in effect what they did in medieval battles. The Persian empire did employ a vast numerical superiority in numbers but were nothing more than conscripts. Very few were actual soldiers (Maybe, according to some historical sources, maybe 10,000 were elite troops (Immortals according to the movie "300")). Their generals were incompetent oafs expending soldiers like tissue paper. That was evident in this battle. I am wondering if the opposing side could surrender. Does anyone know if they plan to allow you to form divisions, regiments, brigades, platoons, squads, fire-teams? Now that would be awesome. Great video, one of the best I have seen. Just don't do what they deem to always do with the JEDI. Send them out. Allow them to get surrounded and then annihilated. Seems JEDI are smarter than that.

Thanks so much for watching the video and for your thoughtful comment! I really appreciate your insights on unit placement. Regarding the unit placement, the game limits us to 18 slots in total. For this battle, I used 15 slots for the Defender team(Footman*4, Firework Archer*4, Archer*3, Shield-armed Heavy Knights*2, Golden Knight*1, Catapult*1) and 3 for the Persian team(Original Persian*2, New Persian*1), so there wasn't any room left to add more units. While we can manually move troops and issue attack commands, unfortunately, there isn't a feature for ordering retreats or surrenders. However, you can achieve a regrouping effect by manually relocating units and then reissuing attack commands. But, I generally avoid manual commands because they clutter the screen with interface elements, which isn't visually appealing. Thanks again for watching! *SPOILER ALERT* New map sounds promising. Although the Flame Archers were placed horribly, the combined effort of the Standard and Gold Knights staying in one mass blob was what really carried the win, despite being near hopelessly outnumbered.
