Wow! Nothing like Unlimited hydroplane racing. NOTHING!!! Beautiful, big boats, gigantic roostertails 100 feet behind, an ever-changing race course, daring drivers. Nothing in motor sports compares to this!

I have no idea!! It sure doesn't seem like the wing on the back would give the proper downforce. I do know that they can't have races on windy days. They have had to cancel events because of that, it's just too dangerous.

this kind of racing competition is completely banned in germany. same goes for drag boats btw.

@@DtRockstar1 well, I guess a limitation of appropriate places and venues to do this kind of racing and motorsports plays a role, while also in general germany tis rather very strict and restrictive/prohibitive. you may have heard the expression "german angst", really describes it here, as this form of motorsports is considered as simply too dangerous, same goes for example also for traditional drag strip racing , such as top level i.e. top fuel drag racing and the likes. many things over here are so tightly regulated, and in fact banned, that you wouldn't even believe.
