3.0L Whipple Cobra Pushes Toward 1000HP On The Dyno

3.0L Whipple Cobra hits the dyno with K.P. Tuning and pounded the rollers pull after pull. Fuel pumps couldn't keep up by the end of the session. Once that is sorted out, it will be back for more power!

@@diddylx50 I made my first two passes, 1 1/8 mile and 1 1/4, lost 2nd in the 1/4 lifted then shifted to 3rd. I also changed pulley combos and am running 28#'s right now instead of 32. I think 8.5's are more than possible kzbin.info/www/bejne/h2qaeXRqpZ2imM0

What's the duty cycle for the injectors? What pump setup is he going to if 2 465s aren't enough I was gonna run 3 465s. Is he adding a secondary pump in the system along the modded fuel hat?

dual hellcats for now, have a triple hat sitting here to go in if I can sort my belt problems out. Ultimate plan is 35 pounds of boost, so will surpass the dual hellcats. Duty cycle is currently 80ish percent.

@@baronhyatt6729 and I'm going to guess you've been nowhere around any kind of performance in your life 😉 Obviously you don't realize the engine has to be making at least 1000hp at the crank to be putting down 924 to the wheels. If that car was being sold today, as is, a company would list it as a 1000hp car... just like your shit box is listed as a 100hp car when in reality it only has like 80 WHEEL hp. Try and think just a little 😂

10:1 std bore teksid, billet main caps. Manley hd I beam rods , Manley crank with crank snout mod done and tool steel square key, diamond pistons ,.5 over stainless valves , bronze valve guides , custom grind bullet cams, arp 2000 everything , mmr billet chain guides tensioners all billet sprockets cloyes adjustable cam gears primary and secondary heavy duty chains over sized chain guide down pins, pac coyote valve springs etc . UNported heads. That's pretty much everything.

@@stevevanhorn3514 So mine is a full build E85... has a 3.25 upper & 4# lower... my builder "says" it hit 923 to the wheels.... I was very gentle on it for well over 1000 miles to break it in. Then ran a Hellcat (lol wasn't even close) and then found out I blew a head gasket. What are your thoughts on that? They say they've built me an engine to hold 1500+hp, but seems like it can't handle 900's. What you think?
