I used to really be impressed by bald eagles, until I actually heard what they sound like, as they root through the trash at the local dump. I'd almost say they are more scavenger than fisher. One of the most ridiculousc bird calls too, I can see why Americans replace the call with that of a redtailed hawk. Sounds like gerbils wrassling. One of the great lies of the 20th century.
