I drive past the studio in Leeds a lot going to my office. Someone painted dusty bin on the green gpo box on Kirkstall Road outside the place. Happy memories for me. Loved the show in tbe early 80s ❤

As much as I love the "Liquid Gold" Yorkshire Television ident, the titles for 3-2-1 lost a bit of charm in their final CGI rendition. At least Ted, Dusty, Linda and The Bensonator kept their dignity :)

This was the only series of 3-2-1 which did not use an alternative Yorkshire Television jingle.

They shouldn't have altered the format for the final series it is the classic case of 'If it ain't broke don't fix it' the quiz should have not been changed & the weekly themes should also had remained.

wish i understood the japanese car joke. Must be a reference to TV at the time.
@EnCryptedHorror Жыл бұрын
@@kudosbudo The joke is about the Esso petrol points you used to collect when you filled up. You'd save them up and trade them in for a set of cups or glasses. So the joke about the car is that it's so fuel efficient it would take you ages to get a set of glasses.

4:45 Ted said The Maximum they could win in this quiz this time was £1,650 But I've calculated that if someone got £110 at the end of ROUND 1 And got All 15 Questions Correct In ROUND Earning £110 Per Question They can actually Win A MAXIMUM OF £1,760 ROUND 1:- £110 + (15 x £110 = £1,650) = £1,760

Ted or Cheryl didn’t even mention Bucks Fizz by name! Just a very famous pop group, then the group! New Beginning was their last big hit in 1986 then they took a break in 1987 but their popularity was waning by then. Cheryl released a cover of If paradise is half as nice in ‘87, but it flopped. She was becoming more known as a presenter by this time, probably why she was chosen to big up the consolation prize and read out the Drifters question.
