3:30 This is a bugged docking position - the distance to the "dock point" is billions of meters away as indicated by the huge X and Z numbers, pointing you toward the star. This was the same problem with docking in the first days of personal hangars. This is because the dock point isn't properly registered and falls back to 0,0,0 with 0 rotation, aligning you to the Stanton coordinate grid and directing you to the middle of the system.

The docking position bug is not limited to the Polaris. It also happens to the hull C as well as the auto docking does not work at all

Thanks for retesting. And what the heck. The Polaris did not disappear in your test. Oh man I'm so happy that I also have it on video. I hope they somehow fixed it and it isn't a failure that just happens somewhen with a certain server. The docking position also seems to be sometimes working sometimes not.

That bug has been affecting the Hull-C for a while now. Several patches. I thought it was a bug with the Hull-C as that's the only ship I have ever spawned at a station, but if it's affecting the Polaris then it's probably a docking problem and not ship specific. Very jarring and annoying to have your ship despawn on you. The only way around it that I've found is to go to a planetary city and claim the ship. It spawns properly in a city hangar.

I got her to auto dock by rolling the top towards the arm extension, i remembered a picture of a docking point on top, and it worked.

You have to have the square present that was the only way I was able to dock. Also it will say path obstructed and I ran down, opened the door, and went back. Boom, it let me dock consistently this way with no issues.

I have had that same misalignment issue at every station I have tried, the only one that has worked for me is Orison.

the polaris docking worked first time for me.. Problem is NOT everyone got rhe polaris ,.l.. some of us still have the loaners incoming patch 2moro ( thursday )

More as in ten or twenty times as many at the very minimum. There are going to be capital ships absolutely everywhere with the Polaris coming out. Just imagine if they start pumping out more RSI capital ships

You get Bug suppression and Server Performance priority , based on your Backing Tier , meaning if you play once every new patch just to check it out your like Low Tier , if your a KZbinr/ streamer making content and active in game and issue council you get higher Priority tier and less Bugs . Its a pay/play to win Tech Demo , for now
