[3.24] Back to Basics - T17 Scarab Farming - Min-Maxed Final Form (It's Broken)

In this video, I showcase a T17 map that is more juicy than last time. Due to the low price of scarabs when I first showcase this farm on KZbin, the setup didn't need to be min-maxed and I was kinda just speed running maps before people caught on. Now that T17 maps and Bloodlines has go up in value so much, this "forced" me to min-max.
The secret is:
Balance your investment into ALL loot multipliers. Roll maps minimum 130 Quant, 130 Scarab, and 50 Pack Size. "Perfect" being a combination of high rolls between 130-200 Quant, 130-180 Scarab, and 50-90 Pack Size.
Outside of scarabs, we are killing thousands of magic mobs in a 500+ quant environment with 100% quant on "gear" from glimmering, so raw divines and T1/T0 uniques are not uncommon. I would guess probably best place in game to drop a raw Mirror of Kalandra too.
Lastly, I do not suggest running these maps as a magic find character in league unless you can do every map mod and run maps in under 6 minutes. This is because if you had 40% quant on gear, it only increased loot by 9% because of diminishing returns, because we always run Horned Glimmering. Your gear slots are better spent creating a character to do all map mods so you don't have to spend so much chaos rolling maps or dying.
Necropolis Currency Calculation: (Adjusted for NO Magic Find)
Revenue of 10 Maps:
Scarabs - 60 Div
Uniques - 10 Div
Currency - 10 DIv
Cost of 10 Maps:
Rolling Map with Chaos - 10 Div
T17 Maps - 8 Div
Scarabs - 15 Div
Profit - 47 Div Per 10 Maps
I can roll and run 8 maps per hour.

I put a lot of information in the description to provide more detail about map rolls, currency breakdown, MF vs NON MF, legacy and non legacy spark POB, etc. Even though this farm has been in the public for several days and people are farming lots of scarabs, it's still a 40 Div per hour NO MF strat if you have a roughly 1 mirror clear speed build that can run most map mods.

Are you hiding all Tier 4 scarabs on your loot filter? I sorted all scarabs out that was below 1c, and it took me like 8 minutes too loot them all. When i only have tier 3 scarabs and above shown, it doesnt seem like theres so many scarabs dropping as i would like. Idk

@@Path_of_Chigurh i dont found div yet but one time one time i got 2 scarab in one map that sold for like 20 div total. In general with bad luck i think it make around 2 div per map and usually it cost around 2 div to open a map i think maybe less but let say 1.5 to 2 div cost. Bloodlines and map itself are the expensives one especially bloodlines. BUT i believe it could be much more if i can clear the map faster because how glittering work

T17 maps don't drop in T17. Not a lot of atlas nodes work with back to basics, so all my map nodes are for more currency drops as all maps are converted to currency.

How do you rate the liquidity of this strategy from your perspective? I've been sitting on dozens of scarabs and they aren't selling. Are you able to keep cash flow positive with scarabs sales into funding the next batch of maps?

In standard, I am able to sell fairly fast. Depends on when you play and how many people are on. Some scarabs sell way more than others like harvest and bestiary.

Honest question, how long does looting a map like this even take for you after completion. I've been somewhat enjoying running T17's with back to basics but even without MF gear the amount of scarabs it shits out is really overwhelming in terms of looting everything after the map.

I run a very very very very very strict filter. So I only loot 40-60 scarabs per map and it takes 2-3 min to loot.

Do you not think rolling the maps for extra rare mobs is worth it? It also gives you +2 rare modifiers on each rare, which ends up being +5-6 depending on how well you roll on B2B. I ran all my extra rare mobs maps ln and it seemed quite good, but it was also my first time doing blood lines+nemeses. I'm running without rare mobs rn and it seems a good bit worse, maybe just rng on b2b.

No. I edit my filter to take out shitty scarabs. Takes only a few minutes to edit and you should make more profit per hour not wasting time looting.
