Retinal, Neuronal Glial interactions change and their basal and stress (light) responses depends on melatonin,insulin and other brain and systemic hormones milieu and sensitivity.

The visual cortex of the two hemispheres receives overlapped lights from the two eyes, right? so how visual cortex segregate them or what is the benefit of this process__ why visual cortex evolved to segregate the light instead of directed received light from each light ipsilaterally? @Mitcbmm
