So I don't see anybody asking this question, but how is the ride after installing this kit? I know it makes it ride not as good but was it a huge difference or not notice it to much? I have a tahoe and I want to do the 2 inch knuckles but the keys are much less money. The drop knuckles or spindles don't change the ride at all so just wondering what your opinion was. Thanks!!

I always had an idea of doing what you’re doing with this yukon denali. Its pretty cool to have a sleeper yukon. But i went with a srt8 jeep instead. Have you raced a tbss? I’d like to see how that’d go

Thank you for the view and comment. I’ve never raced a tbss. It’s kinda hard to get raced tbh. The only one that want to race me is cars and newer mode built trucks. With the Lt motors. I did a little pull with an srt8 jeep. I kept up till like 50-60. Then started pulling away. On my old set up. Just cam, stall and headers. I’m currently doing the whole top end as a matter of fact. Just need new map sensor and tune after that. Keep an eye out for that

When I got the Denali it had air ride problems. So it wasn’t working so I didn’t ever use it. Just the normal shocks thank you sir.

Yo, i have an 02 yukon denali. Want to do the same. Install a drop kit. What kit can i install and run 26’s with no issues? Also keep my air ride suspension. Can you tell me the kit you have and where to order from?

I'm not sure, but I think I can still ride 26s fine. I have alot of room left. I looked around for kits but most of them were out of my budget, so i made my kit... and by that I mean I bought everything a separate times.. i bought the drop springs and keys from crown suspension.. i for the shocks from beltech... the kit was like 600... i got the drop springs and keys for 200.... back shocks for 110.. front shocms for 75.. so total like 385... so saved me over 200 dollars. And about the air ride suspension I'm not sure.. mine wasn't working any more so I just unhooked it.. but they should sell special shocks... or keep your shocks and use shock extenders.. thank you for your view and comment

First, I would get cold air intake, port throttle body, port intake and get headers and a tune.. that alone will wake it up a good amount. I know a guy In the Dallas area that ports. He ported my stuff.. his Instagram name is 454chuy. You can mail him your intake and throttle body and he ships it back to you.. and if you want more power. A cam and stall is the next best thing.

I just did a 4 inch drop in the rear and left the front stock but when I go over a bump it makes a clunking sound and when I brake it makes a knocking sound any ideas what it is?

Thank you for the view and comment. On these suvs. Where the bump stop goes. There is an extra piece that’s on the frame. You will need to cut that off It’s not the actual frame just be careful the gas tank is right behind it

If I'd do it again with 22s... I would go with a 2/3 drop with 285/45r22. Have a good size tires and fill the tire gap

You don’t installed a new bump stop bro you just left it like the you cut the plastic front in back if the tire was rubbing or not in too know where the right way too installed the bolt on a new torsion key

You will more than likely have to c notch it. This 4 inch drop barely clears. If I hit a dip with a loaded truck it bottoms out a bit.

I have an appointment to get tuned today, I had some work done to the motor and it went down hill,I had went to get tuned and the denali wasn't cooperating... we had problems with harness.. problems with ecm... sensors acting up because the harness.. i replaced ecm... harness.. sensors all that good stuff.. so today hopefully we can get it tuned no problem. And power wise. I'm not sure to be honest, never had it dynoed.. but it feels pretty good.. if I had to put a number to it.. probably around 400 awhp. I think you will need upper control arms either way. If you want 2”. I think the stock keys will let you lower 2”. Just back out the bolt. Is it 4x4b

Yes, mine is all wheel drive, has tortion keys, you can use your stock keys to go up or down a good 2 inches... i put the 3inch drop keys, and it went way low.. i have it as far as I can go up now, i got 4inch drop springs in the rear.. if you go that low or lower cut the plate off wherr the bump stop is...i didn't think I would be that low but I'm hitting on dips, so.i have to go back and get that free travel. It's on the frame, not part of the frame.. gives you a good 3 inch more clearance
