I love my David Naill pipes. They are some of the best sounding pipes and I have not wanted any other pipes other than a plastic beater set for parades etc.

I currently am using a set of DN3's with Ez-drone reeds in and I absolutley love the sound!
@mrkashihigashi10 жыл бұрын
I just recently bought a set of DN2s with G1 platinum chanter reed and Murray Henderson all carbon fibre drone reeds. Absolutely love the sound. I also have a Blackwood chanter with ivory sole. I Ed blue to make the "gurgle" sound in the drone reeds

Nice Drone sound, which drone reed did you use?

The First tune is called Kilworth Hills.

Nice fingering, nice playing and a good sound, but try taking the tempo back a little; it makes it much easier to express the tune (maybe don't cut the cut notes quite so much). What happened to the third and fourth parts of Kilworth Hills? :-)

I already have a set of older Nails I'm using with a Hardie blackwood chanter and love the tone, they're pretty beat up and have some obvious replacement parts. I'd love to have a full nickel set of pipes almost like the set that is being played right now. The tuning this piper is using right now .. sounds awsome when your on the inside. I wonder which chanter is being played and which drone reeds are being used.

Those pipes sound just like mine!(I have Naill Poly with Ezeedrone) but the chanter is in tune in this video, my B is flat. Kilworth hills, Banks of Allen Water and - (I have never heard the 3rd tune, sounds nice). THe mic was probably close to the bass drone because they are really blended.

Beautiful pipes! Can pipers come in and test play pipes before they purchase?
@HendersonsPipes9 жыл бұрын
Yes, absolutely. We have smallpipes and Highland pipes that can be tested. If there's something you particularly want to try, we can have that instrument ready for a "test drive" when you get here. Thanks!

***** are your acetyl pipes just as good?

Stevie Bernardoni Blackwood is considered the preferred material when budget allows, but Poly pipes are very popular and becoming more so--they look great, are quality-made, offer a strong value, and are durable and easy to care for. We recently filmed a demo of Dunbar Poly bagpipes: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKDKiaeXat9gndU If you visit our page of Poly Bagpipes, you can watch videos of McCallum and Hardie Poly pipes, too. www.hendersongroupltd.com/cart/pc/viewcategories.asp?idCategory=542 Feel free to call us at 1-800-931-5010 or chat online from our website. We're here to help, and we'd be happy to talk with you about any of the pipes.

+Henderson's Bagpipes, Drums & Uniforms Are you going to be getting in and stocking any Naill PN1's?
@HendersonsPipes8 жыл бұрын
+pipergy Thanks for your question. We have carried the Naill Poly pipes before, but it's not a style we're currently stocking. It would be available as a special order. Let us know if we can be of any more help.

what size of your pipe bag?
@HendersonsPipes9 жыл бұрын
This is a medium Bannatyne synthetic pipe bag. We generally recommend bag size base on the piper's height. And sizes do vary between brands. Thanks!
