For the flamboyant JJ Wickelmann and the British genius Josiah Wedgewood, white embodied all the Enlightenment values of justice, equality and reason.

Whistler's white is now used in India everywhere, Making it a Gloomy and Colorless fashion. Sometimes going with our own instincts is better than going with popular fashion. My room walls are Pink and Light-Green wallpapered, while the Furniture is their Dark version Crimson-Red and Forest-Green. My friend comments: Why this combination? Me: Why not? are you Red-Green Colorblind? Friend: No, it looks awful. Me: To me, Perfectly Beautiful and Cheerful. Friend: Stop, You should paint the Room White and Furniture too must be White. Cool and Simple, Bright and Full of Positivity. Me: But it's also full of Claustrophobia and Colorlessness, thank you very much but I am happy with my Reds and Greens. Purity of White is a Black Lie, you can live with it, be happy. Le Corbusier's city design will consume more energy, it will be wasteful on resources, destructive on the environment. We need fresh air to breath, clean water to drink and healthy food to eat. His city design corrupts all of it. Above all makes Shelter expensive and Difficult. Thank God his designs were dismissed then, but now people are adapting them! they must be dismissed for this World's sake. Modern Urban Planning must be done with Artists, Environmentalists and Historians in account, so that both Culture and Nature are preserved and the Poorest person too gets a place to live. Giving something as important as Urban Planning in the hands of Greedy Corporate Pocket Fillers is a Capital Crime all the Governments are doing nowadays, the Political leaders MUST BE STOPPED. Le Corbusier's work wasn't an art, it was a disrespect for Culture and History. I like the idea of Excercise though, but what he was thinking to do with the Cities was AWFUL. Modern designers and planners on his path must be questioned for their mental sanity. Whistler did no good to the color White anyways, it looks its best only when surrounded by other colors. Or as he painted, in a Symphony with its own multiple different variations, white looks good then, but when all of it Pure White: It leaves no room for Creativity.
