surely you must know that on broadway, directors prefer a good actor over a good voice, right? Not to say josh isn't a good actor- he was incredible, but Dave has all the business singing his own score. Plus I kinda like Dave's pierre more than josh's- Dave's sounds like a complete mess who's slowly trying to pull himself together while josh's is less of that. (I'm completely biased towards dave)

I actually kind of like Dave's scruffy rough voice for this voice better than Josh's, not that Josh's voice isn't beauty (it's like smopth butter) but I think that with the scruffiness of Dave's voice it fits better with the character of Pierre
