O remember making the ubiquitous plant holders when I was in fifth grade ( LOL) - my Mom bought me the twine and instruction books for Christmas- but forgot how to do it after years of neglect- nice video.

New here... This is easiest tutorial I've watched..question thou the half hitch can that be also used for more than 4 loops ? And instead of 1 strand, will strands each? Thanks
@dianechristopherson87374 жыл бұрын
Diane again. I am a real beginner and need to know about the very basic beginnings. I have seen people working with a "frame" - the macrame hanging from the frame. I've also heard that you can work from sitting at a table. I guess you must stabilize the dowel somehow? Thanks a bunch
@ColleenPastoor4 жыл бұрын
I’m not a perfectionist and just tape it to the table or hang it from kitchen cupboard handles :)

Hey! I know this is an old post but do you know how much rope it would take to do about 2 feet of the first knot?
@rizuk48354 жыл бұрын
In the spiral knot the middle string are eventually long and the side ones shorter. Do we change the string after some knots or I am doing it correct?
@ColleenPastoor4 жыл бұрын
You’re correct! It’s a pain, but usually you’ll be knotting it with other pieces that will eventually change your working cord :)
@lauramorgan3084 жыл бұрын
