As a former Northern Californian (born there) I know about the Giant Redwoods along the coast. Loved them then and love them now. Like you I used to get car sick riding in the back seat! So as a kid I used to ride in the front seat with mom and dad. Loved it!

Thank you for this great tutorial, Wendy. In the Netherlands we do not have these amazing sequoia trees, but my husband and I went to see them in Yosemite park about ten years ago. I too was one of those kids in the rear facing station wagon window down inhaling the exhaust fumes. I survived and prefer driving. My hubby likes being chauffeured lol.

Gorgeous cards! Thank you 💕 I put a piece of tear in’ tape down my trimmer and just left the backing on the side that goes toward the trimmer. Works perfectly! I grew up in Arnold for a bit… The sequoias are amazing! My grandparents lived in Carlsbad NM so the Caverns were our “go every summer and take visitors” trip.

Beautiful card. The embellishments are impressive. Thanks so much for the project sheet. Your Halloween story was very convincing & fun! I need to tell you there was a small house next door to where I grew up. It was a rental & the tenants kept changing. One mature couple had an "open" marriage. We would see him coming in with younger women & her going out on a date with younger men. Note this was waaay before computer dating. Being unfaithful to your spouse was NOT accepted. They moved away together!? Many stories about that house are told when we get together still. This is true & one of many tenants over the years.

Love the card. I cased it and had no problem following along. Thanks so much for this and the pdf. I have a question though, you have Smoky Slate ink pad listed but I didn’t see where you used it, watched and rewound numerous times. Did I miss it? Also, I put Tear & Tape on back side of the plastic on trimmer which makes it easier to see the measurements

Instead of White paper on your trimmer bar I put tear and tape on the bottom side under the ruler. Don’t take the other side of of the tape off. Works great never comes off.
