@Movie Shortcut bruh it's a text editor which you can use anywhere linux, windows and even vs code has an extension with vim ... if you know how to use vim properly you don't need mouse while programming ... all the things can be done with the help of just keyboard ..

Sublime text is way more faster than other editor. It also has pretty much every plugin that VS Code provide but its much much faster than VS Code and Atom

As of April 2024, Atom is no longer supported. Zed is it's replacement or more accurately, a superset. Zed is built by the same team that built atom and has tons of features without compromising on speed. The only caveat is that it is available only for MacOS. On windows and linux you have to compile it from source (which means compiling Rust code, since it is written in Rust).

I wouldn't recommend any type of modern code editors like vs code etc for beginners unless you are working on a long project. I started coding in Borland Turbo C editor in 2006 (which is really bad for big projects by the way) but it taught me how to be right in a single shot & gave me more confidence in writing code. These days students are so lazy that they want everything thing in front of them and can't even remember a proper syntax.
