No mention about visas, also Vietnam doesn’t have a retirement visa, you have to border hope every 3 months for example!

@@Amanda_downunder Cambodia's the easiest. 55 and over can stay for a full year an reapply each year. It costs approximately 280 each year to reapply. Vietnam requires visa runs and Indonesia has retirement visa. All are humid.

@@adventurefreaksss - thank you; r there any places where one doesn't have to keep paying or re-applying ? I'd rather get a visa once, not keen on keep paying again and again, esp once I've lived in a country for more than 3 or 4 yrs or so. I'm also looking at Portugal, Albania, Bulgaria, S America. I just don't think I can deal with humidity all yr round. but who knows ! ty so much and I'll keep watching you. best wishes.

Know that the pollution in these locations can be very high. Thats why I left , unfortunately. My heart will always be in Vietnam.
