I can vouch for the efficacy of this routine for fortifying one's ability to keep your balance. I've been doing this group of movements for at least 7-8 years (without the added weight resistance), and on the days when I'm able to work it in, I feel like I could hike the Grand Canyon afterwards. I'm so much more confident in climbing or stepping up or over things, or maneuvering around obstacles. When I'm able to work it in on consecutive days, all the more so. Doing these movements as isometric reps is also very effective.

Found theme to be very helpful. Question though? My stabilizing leg knee is slightly bent. Should I feel this movement in the thigh area of that leg or am I doing it wrong?
