We’re using PPG Commercial White, which is the exact same shade as Pure White. We love it!

Im having a auper difficult time picking a color to paint my kitchen cabinets. I need it to go with Travertine backsplash and St. Cecilia counters. (I know, i know lol). I was thinking a creamy/off white.

How do you feel about shiitake on perimeter cabinets, a walnut island, and Greek Villa on the walls? Do those mesh well? It's new construction, so lots of decisions!

Thanks Kylie. Great videos 😊 I have been studying hard! 🤣 Is there a grayer Pure White? Just a small touch. Snowbound has that hint of pink and BM Decorators White PM-3 is a touch too gray.

We love Pure White by Sherwin Williams. Worked great for our exterior siding and also our interior trim. Such a versatile option. 🤍

This video was great! I absolutely love White Dove in my bathrooms and am considering it for my living room, but I’m nervous it might wash out due to the high ceilings and natural south facing light. I’d love similar recommendations for a “creamier” white dove to order. ❤️

Isn't it gorgeous? I have high ceilings (and northern light) and LOVE my White Dove. If you want a bit more depth, it does border on the slightly more 'creamy' end of things, which makes some people nervous. This could be along the lines of BM Dove Wing, perhaps?

Sherwin Williams Alabaster is a bit creamier, too (but creamier does mean more yellow!)

I love White Dove and have only used it in closets and then more recently on my bedroom and bathroom ceilings. Husband and I just bought a lake house and we're in the process redoing the kitchen and floor throughout the house. It's a ranch home, about 1400 (or less) sq ft. The floor will be a medium toned wood tile and we're replacing old worn out cabinets with white cabinets, Cambria countertop and stainless steel appliances. We want a soft, light, airy feel in the home. We wouldn't mind just a touch more color on the walls. All that being said, would you still recommend considering these colors? Or can you recommend a few others, along the same line, but with a little more color?

It's hard to say without seeing the home, lighting, actual countertops, tiles, and furniture. Off the top, I LOVE White Dove for this. As for Pure White and Chantilly Lace, they can be a bit fussier, depending on the natural light as they can go a bit cool, vs soft and airy. SW White Snow is also awesome - it's a bit warmer than Chantilly Lace.

Oooo, it would be a toss up between SW Pure White and BM White Dove. If you like a slightly softer, warmer white, then White Dove. If you want a white that's soft, but comes off a bit cleaner, Pure White :).

I have watched a lot of your videos. I have ordered a lot of samplize paint colors. I am so overwhelmed. I have a new build and I have to pick my cabinet colors right now (and my wall colors). I am going with Taj counters and a medium flooring. I wanted a creamy white, but after watching your videos I now realize that I want cream to do what white does (which it does not). I have a nice custom stain picked out for my island. I need help with my cabinet color. I have to stick with SW paint. Can you give me 3 or so warm white options? I am considering the following 6- shell white, white duck, egret white, aesthetic white, shoji white, and white heron. (I do not want a stark white)! I am hoping to pair (on the walls) with accessible beige (50%), Taupe of the morning, natural tan (50%?), or another color that is light and leans more beige than gray. Can you help? I have decision fatigue!

I could've written your post as I'm in the same boat! I'm leaning shiitake for cabinets and Greek Villa for walls. Taupe of the Morning was also in the running but I'd planned to pair it with the color Sanctuary. My only issue with Taupe of the Morning is that I can sometimes see pink in it and I'm not sure how I feel about that since it'll be on all of my perimeter cabinets. My island will be black walnut and my countertop is Barrington honed, which is white with gray and taupe-ish veining.

​@K-ps7nt Same! I feel bad even complaining when others would kill to be in my position, but it's very overwhelming. Have you decided on colors yet? I went with shiitake and Greek Villa walls (after tons of back and forth!). I still haven't chose my main bath vanity color because I can't decide on a wallpaper.

I do love White Dove with Edgecomb Gray and it will look that bit creamy/warmer. My FAVORITE is SW Pure White :)

Ahhh, White Dove is softer and not as clean. Both have a yellow based warmth, but Simply White's is cleaner and whiter!
