I have loved white dove since the days of Divine design with Candice Olson. I have white dove on all my millwork and ceilings with Silverplate on my walls with dark hardwood floors. Looks amazing. I realize gray is going out but I still love it. I add color in my finishing touches

Thank you so much for this video! I am a recent subscriber as well are building a new home at this very moment! We are painting right now for our new build. I was going to do my kitchen cabinets BM forest floor and had Swiss coffee in the kitchen around it. Simply white trim. Had a melt down and realized I couldn’t do green cabinets lol 😂and changed my cabinet colours to revere pewter (LOVE) last minute. Now the Swiss coffee is too yellow for me. 🤦‍♀️ TODAY as in right now I was scouring for a new off white for the kitchen and everywhere else I had Swiss coffee. I then see this video, white dove it is! Now my palette is: Simply White, White Dove, Revere Pewter (timeless imo!), Edgecomb grey (timeless as well imo!!), October Mist, Heather Grey, Forest Floor. My floors are mid tone warm wood. Bottom cabinets are warm walnut. Countertop is a faint marble look quartz that is warmish off white with some warm veining. ❤

We’re painting our interior trim White Dove! Revere Pewter throughout because we have tons of natural light, it never looks dark. And Antique Pewter on kitchen cabinets :)

Does anyone have any comments if I should go with White Dove cabinets and an accent colour instead on the walls? My main living space is flooded with natural sunlight as we have south exposure windows from wall to wall.

Love your videos! I Have been watching these all educating myself all day today 😅 we are redecorating our home. For the kitchen, we going for a sage grayish cabinets similar to BM Sioux Falls and I’m torn between few off white options for the walls that also will transition into living space and dining as our kitchen is open - I’m thinking about white dove for trims and Peter revere or pale oak or edgecomb grey for walls - will any of these work for Sioux Falls? Thank you

Ooo, this all sounds LOVELY, I'd love to see how it all turns out :). I see NO PROBLEM with any of these. I know some people get nervous about the pink in Pale Oak, but SW Egret White is AMAZEBALLS and kind of hugs all of these colors and wraps them into one! Other than that, probably Edgecomb Gray. ALTHOUGH, Egret White prefer SW Pure White trim (admittedly, so does Pale Oak)!

Love this video! My carpet is a clean pale grey with pink/violet undertones. I'm not thrilled with it (or having to choose it from stupidly small samples) but it will cost me thousands to replace it as it's two joining rooms. I put classic gray on the walls and it looks dirty and dingy sadly. Would white dove be better? Or would this also be too dirty? Bit stressed as it was a lot of work. 😫 Any suggestions gratefully received.

If you are doing Antique pewter cabinets, would you recommend White Dove for walls, ceilings and trim? Or should we go for just White Dove walls and Simply White trim and ceiling?

Hi Kylie! I think I’ve watched (and rewatched) 50 of your videos by now 😂 Thanks for all the great content! I wondering if you can help me with my dilemma. The painters just put the final coats of white dove on my walls and I’m finally getting to take it all in. I went with white dove walls (matte duration), white dove ceiling (flat), white dove trim/doors/built ins (semi gloss) throughout my entire house. The color on the walls is very pretty and soft. I expected some variation between the finishes… but I’m finding that the trim color is DARKER than the walls. By enough that even my husband noticed. So, I’m panicking 😭 I know you are busy, but I have 3 questions for you: 1. Have you seen/heard of this happening? Is this normal and I should have known better? 2. If I decide I can’t live with it, I’ll have to decide if I should repaint all the walls a darker color OR if I should have the trims repainted with a 50% lighter version of white dove (so. much. work. 😫). What would you do?? I was going for light, fresh walls after having deep taupes/purple from the previous owner. 3. What kelvin number light bulb do you think best suits white dove for nighttime artificial lighting? Thanks so much for all you do!

We started a remodel a couple years ago that got put on hold due to contractor in a very rural area… rabbit hole as you would say LOL. At the time my husband fell in love with Kemper cabinet color “icy avalanche “ and island color “maritime blue” 🤦🏻‍♀️. Don’t get me wrong, I do love the colors BUTTTTT Now that this project has takin this long and more $$, my beach house in the south is a few more years away. That being said, I have decided I want to do the house in a Coastal vibe ! Why not bring the beach to me 😂. I have picked a natural warm blonde floor but for the life of me I can’t find a paint color that ties this all together 😢 We kind of decided on White Wisp but I feel like this is still a tad bit to cool went trying to bring in wicker and some warmth. I have watched more videos on paint colors then I ever wanted too! If by chance you have a few suggestions for me to sample I would be more then greatful! The new contractor is ready to paint and getting impatient 😬

We are doing a traditional farmhouse remodel and we are planning on BM white dove for the kitchen cabinets. We will be having a Ilve range in midnight blue. I'm wanting to do a color that goes well with the stove on the island in a medium blue. We need some help with a wall color that goes with the BM White Dove. Wanting to do a Carrara marble on the island. We have a large south window and a couple of small east windows on each side of the range. The floor is a brazilian teak in cherry wood. All doors are cherrywood and tall base board.

Hmmmm, thank you for this, I'm going to give that some thought! Did you do one with him and enjoy it? Anyway, pale pinks with White Dove are HARD. Because White Dove is soft and warm and a darker shade of white, it can be pretty touch with even NOT super pale pinks. The thing is, once pink gets light enough, it will make White Dove look a bit dingy and MORE yellow - it can be a really tough combo. Do you already have White Dove in place?

@@KylieMInteriorsPaint Yes I just had a consultation with him. It was a short call, I think that he has a lot of clients. I do appreciate his advice but I would have liked more details and understanding like you have in your videos. I'm painting a salon white, he suggested White Dove and then suggested that I paint the bathroom pink. I do not mind the color, but like you said finding a pink that will not make the white trim look dirty will be hard. I now want to paint the entryway pale and dark green, which also need to match the White Dove trim, so I'm feeling stressed again lol

Pale Oak is stunning, but does grab pink tones, so make sure that suits your space! Maybe SW Shoji White, White Duck or Aesthetic White instead?

I was scared in a north west facing apartment with a dark kitchen (no real windows) as its interior that it could get dingy. But so far it’s the only one I’m loving. The island is going to be Oil Cloth or Evergreen Fog
