NICE!! Hey how do you have your blue rinse hose plumbed to your 12v? I noticed it came in handy for rinsing and you didn’t have to worry about cranking up the power washer.

3/4 bulk head and hose to the 12v pump and then 3/4 from pump to reel

Where did you get those ladder stabilization bars? Do you charge more when the customer wants you to knock down the moss off the roof? Keep up the great videos bro.

Came across them on Amazon. I don't even know what they're called. Yes I up the price for the brushing

Can you tell me about how you got insurance and how you described the house washing to the insurance underwriters? I’m guessing roof washing is only really a good idea above 50 degree? In a area with salmon streams does bleach get skipped and you just use something less potent?
@YoungAmbitionYA2 жыл бұрын
It's property maintenance and just ask for a general liability policy. Nothing works better than bleach

@@YoungAmbitionYA what about house washing??

Don't use any soap on siding at the moment

I'm wondering why you have 2 seperate Hoses for roof washing and house washing. Is it because 5/8" hose line will create too much flow for roof washing?
@YoungAmbitionYA2 жыл бұрын
Just preference. It's always nice have a chem line and water line separated. 5/8s would be fine for roofs

I have the same blend manifold for my system I’m wondering how much surfactant you use on your roofs I see some guys keep it wide open but I only keep mine at about 60% but sometimes I feel like it’s not enough?
@YoungAmbitionYA2 жыл бұрын
I change it depending on the job. There's no 1 setting fits all

@@YoungAmbitionYA that’s what I figured but if you had to choose on what you keep it at on most roofs what would it be. And thanks for keep putting out these videos man I try to watch everyone.

@@davejohnson8148 20 or 40 hash but all depends on the soap you use and the predillution the mfg recommends

If you were restarting but had all your current knowledge and a decent budget, what would you do differently and what would you do the same?
@YoungAmbitionYA2 жыл бұрын
Market heavy from the start, Angie's list or something like it right away, gas pump or down stream from the beginning. I'd price higher early on too. Waited too long to raise prices and price many jobs too low in the beginning

Why do you choose to brush the moss off instead of letting the SH kill it and let it come off on its own? Im just starting out and trying to get as much info as possible on why guys do different things

It doesn't really come off on its own. Not usually

I have heard many times from softwash guys that they turn down roof jobs on anything with stained wood siding. The reason they say this is that the reaction between SH and the stain causing streaks. Have you ever had this happen to you? Obviously your not turning them down.😁
@joeschultz29262 жыл бұрын
That's what I was thinking..I would be nervous of the the stain streaking.
