U can have 1 day experience @400 rupees for rafting only with many civil local authorities there ... But i did a Basic course of 5 days with 6 days of stay including fooding and transportation and that cost around 7K per individual from Govt organization GMVN . The price may b revised now. I did it in 2017.

Whats the age of the kid? ... I think kids may not b allowed for 2 or 2+ Grade rapids.. but they may b allowed just to sit on the raft for any photography purpose .. .and i personally suggest kids should not try .

Dude it is not grade 3 rapid.. 1st one is grade 2 and remaining are not even rapid..

The guide with us told its grade 3 . Because of the flood at Kedarnath the water level are controlled or reduced by Uttarakhand Govt.
