3 Body Problem is the first book of a trilogy called Remembrance Of Earths Past by Chinese author Cixin Liu. This sci-fi series has the potential to blow your mind if they do it right.

If Netflix does it right; we are in for a total mind blowout. I have finished the the series before and finished the first book for a second time again last night. Prob won't finish book 2 and 3 again before the show releases. But I'm gonna have fun either way.

Everyone keeps saying the books are mind blowing, hopefully Netflix can pull it off.

I haven't read the books in a long time and the good thing is I can hopefully watch the show without too much comparing how they did it in the books or not. I do know the major 'holy crap' moments and plot points so a lot of the mystery from the trailers is pretty obvious to me what is what. So far looks good.

Great reaction,….expressed yourself and gave insight without talking through the whole trailer which many reactors have the mistake of doing,…sometimes silence and expressions speak louder than words.

Glad the series budget is $200m per season because it’s going to cost a lot to adapt a war at this scale and complexity. I still doubt it’s possible.

If you know anything about the wow signal of the CERN hadron particle collider in Switzerland, then you know that much of the subject matter in the show is based on real world events or things, which is amazing, yet also,...... highly concerning!!

If they do the books justice this will be up there with dune in my opinion

I'll say, watch the show and if you like the show, maybe check out the books. Go in cold and just watch the show and enjoy the mystery.

Will do. Thanks for the comment.

the chinese three-body season 1 has 30 episodes. its really good. if netflix can manage to squeeze everything in 10 episodes without loosing context then you guyz are in for a huge treat. unless the game of thrones ppl decide to put sex in it, it should be very good. i butchered the book. the book was awesome. only problem was the chinese names. when u r not used to such names (my 1st experience reading chinese book, translated) u mix them a lot get confused. who is who? but the overall concepts of the book was so good. some concepts could be imagined by only chinese mentality. you need to read a lot about science, astrophysics, physics, data science, computers, engineering, lightspeed, historical philosophers and scientists names. you have to be very knowledgable to really enjoy this book. so good luck preparing your brains to be broken.

@@WadeWadeReacts you don't need to be as knowledgeable as this comment suggests. As long as you have a general understanding of popular science, the author does a really good job at explaining all of the concepts. Either way, would love to hear your thoughts on the show! My favorite series of all time, legit changed my perception of reality.

Explaining what the aliens are couldn’t fit within a trailer…it’s a crazy and wild story.
