Dang, that's crazy you would do a year's clean up of bookkeeping. But you didn't know! And we just learn along the way. But I don't see how giving them a 75% incentivizes them to become a client, when I would argue they could just repeat the same thing next year and save the 75% again.

The certifications are: MBE (Minority Owned Business), WBE (Women owned businesses), DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise), 8(a) or WOSB (Certification for Minority or Women-owned Businesses)

yes and once a biz is certified...you want to be able to HANDLE the work that comes with that contract(which needs to be LOCKED IN and a SEPARATE MONTHLY CHARGE) or they will take their biz somewhere else...IF outsourced...add in that COST to your price cause you will loose money. Get your fee or retainer for this particular service UPFRONT to actually WORK on the PROJECT. also the CPA cert statements is a CONTRACT with the CPA...For their "cert statements only" with a non compete...you dont want to lose your client because you did not think thru the profit and process. 😉 Im a Financial Management Consultant for Solopreneurs...yeah you are worth alot of money...be firm, be strong, charge well..cause you are in biz..loooooovvvveee your video, thanks for sharing! ❤️🦋

No.3 is where I got my tagline, "From shoebox to statements" 😅. Actually had a couple clients like that way back when 🤦🏾‍♀️. Now that I'm virtual (like, no client in my time zone), I don't accept that from any client. I take spreadsheets, app dumps, CPA dialogues..... I will not even look at a pile of (digitized) receipts from Home Depot! Thanks for the memories, Crysta 😆

Most bookkeepers severely under price their services. If bookkeepers only charge $6K per year, that is FAR less than the company would have to pay if they hired even a part time bookkeeper. What do you all think?
